If anything shouldn't LaCrosse have been placed where Platteville is? It doesn't make much sense at all but on the positive side of things there are 3 WIAC teams with 2 having the potential to go very far.

Geography made it tough, but I sure think Oshkosh has the easiest path as the #1 overall.  Only Randolph-Macon has a similar one.  The teams in really limited what you could do in terms of splitting all three WIAC teams into different quadrants.  You could have switched the Platteville and IWU pods, but that's arguably a tougher potential matchup for Oshkosh and you still have a conference opponent in the same potential spot.

I understand...still doesn't mean I can't complain. Just having Platteville and Oshkosh in the same bracket doesn't seem right.

Former Wauzeka-Steuben and Minnesota-Mankato 6'4" G, Gavin Ralph, has transferred to UW-Platteville.  I believe he should have 4 years of eligibility remaining.

Who does Point have locked in for next season? I haven't seen a single recruit on here so I'm hoping their not cutting their basketball program due to Logan Mulhern and Trey Zastrow screwing the pointers over

Stevens Point is adding men's tennis and men's golf, so maybe they will discontinue the basketball program...though it won't be Mulhern or Zastrow's fault.

Levi Borchert is named player of year. Rodrick Payne is named newcomer of the year. Matt Lewis is named coach of the year.

All three the very logical and easy choice. All well deserved and earned.

Joining Borchert on the first team are Ethan Anderson, Wyatt Cook, Derek Gray, Noah Hanson, Eddie Muench, Hunter Plamann, Quentin Shields, Kyle Tuma, and Lovell Williams.

Congrats to all!

Good luck to La Crosse, Oshkosh and Platteville tomorrow and hopefully for the next few weekends.

Platteville wins 76-59 over Marian. Started out on a 9-0 run but Marian would not go away kept the game in doubt until 2-3 minutes left. Platteville plays St. John's tomorrow. Oshkosh also wins so all three WIAC teams win.

Are you drunk or high? Calvin plays Plattville.

My bad I wasn't at the first game and the guy sitting next to me  told me St. John's won. Should have  checked the scores  on d3hoops.com.

Pretty disappointing night for the WIAC tonight... After going 3-0 last night, all three squads fall this evening, capped off by UWO squandering a late lead on their home court. A foul on a three point shot while holding a four point lead with under 30 seconds remaining led to UWO's unraveling.

Wow. And just like that, the WIAC is done. La Crosse hung tough with IWU, no shame in that. Platteville gets smoked at home by possibly one of the last Pool C teams in, Calvin. Oshkosh pulls a huge choke job. Meanwhile, all 3 CCIW teams advance. A very sudden and disappointing end, especially for Oshkosh, who was probably the tournament favorite.

Two of the three women's teams have survived.  Both WHITEWATER and Oshkosh have advanced and will play at the same site this coming weekend.  Eau Claire was narrowly defeated.  Oshkosh will take on Baldwin Wallace and the WARHAWKS will face Smith.
