Well, I was holding out hope that Point could turn their recruiting around this cycle....after a few of their top targets committed elsewhere recently, that hope is out the window.  Their only hope to field a competitive team next season is through transfers, and I'm not expecting that either.  This may be my last WIAC recruiting update as it's not any fun when Point can't beat anyone for any recruits.

The next time I see Connor Kurki from Iola-Scandinavia I'm going to ask him to transfer to UWSP and play both basketball and baseball. He'd be a huge help on the basketball court if he put his mind to it.

Former Waupun/D2 Minnesota Crookston/Bryant and Stratton 6'4" W, Quinten Winterfeldt is transferring to UWSP.  Good get for the Pointers, need much more help though.

Haha, We will still have to see if I continue with it into next season, free time isn't what it used to be.

2 high level recruits for sure, but they are still probably 5th best in the WIAC right now.  They need a high level post transfer.

If you pay attention to the national scene, big news out of John Carroll as they've had four D1 transfers commit as well as a D2 guy. They were 8-16 last year, including a 2-13 last place finish in the OAC.

6'5" Minneapolis North W, Jacob Butler, committed to play college basketball at UWRF.  From what I can tell, I think this is a good get for the Falcons.

6'10" D2 Ferris St transfer, Aidan Shore, will play the rest of his career at UW-Stout.  This is a big get for the Blue Devils.  They are definitely on the upswing it seems.
