United Township(IL) G, Bristol Lewis, has also committed to the Pioneers of Platteville.  Lewis also had a bunch of interest out of the CCIW, seems like a good get there.  This is already the 5th commit this cycle for Platteville.
It's going to be crowded at Platteville next year with everyone coming back.

That's a good problem to have.

Blugolds hold on to defeat Platteville tonight 72-70 at Zorn Arena. Went into half all tied up. Blugolds held a 7 point lead with 5:36, but a series of issued layups and turn overs gave Platteville the opportunity to close the gap in the final minutes, but Eau Claire comes out with the victory.  Blugolds have a hard time playing with the lead in games.

At least they have a lead in games.

The Warhawks had a 67-61 lead with 2:10 left and had to survive a late potential go-ahead 3-pt attempt from the Falcons with 2 seconds left to win. Whitewater was fouled on the missed 3, but they, in turn, missed both FTs. The PbP doesn't say if River Falls got a shot off.

Someone threw up a three quarters court prayer for UWRF, but it was well wide. Probably was heaved after the buzzer even, so it doesn't even go in the pbp.

A key difference between statkeeping in the NBA and NCAA basketball is end of quarter/half/game desperation heaves are to be disregarded in college hoops unless they go in. Scorer's discretion as to what is a heave and what is a legitimate shot. End of shot clock prayer heave should be simply a team turnover unless the ball hits the rim, in which case, missed shot & rebound.

Oshkosh picks up an vRRO win over SNC heading into next week. Nice little added bonus. (And for now Oshkosh loses a loss against Marian.)

All three remaining games in the tournament will add three RRO wins and three RRO losses in R9.

Eau Claire was the last team to beat Oshkosh. They're playing again. Oshkosh is up 20-2 with 11 minutes left in the 1st half.

I was just about to turn it on and watch and saw the box score pop up before clicking on the live video link. Think I'll check out Blugold Hockey instead. Hoops didn't score until 8 minutes into the first half. At least I won't have to worry about them blowing another lead in a loss to ight.

Whitewater will try to make it 3 WIAC teams in the NCAAs as they take on Oshkosh on Sunday for the AQ. La Crosse should be pretty safe. Whitewater has no shot at a Pool C so it's win or bust for the Warhawks.

Oshkosh got out to an 18-0 lead and never looked back. Oshkosh still thrived with Plamann only scoring two late points on a cutting layup. Thomas with three huge momentum propelling threes.

Booth is back from surgery and saw five minutes off the bench. Going to need him to get a few bench minutes probably here as it always gets called tighter this time of year and fouls add up a bit more.

Championship is Sunday at 1pm CT, with selections 23 hours later.

Carnage in the conference tournaments last night. Utica, CMS and Pomona Pitzer, Wheaton IL, John Carroll all lost. La Crosse doesn't help themselves by losing, at home, again.

Drew now has the Eagles out. La Crosse will be scoreboard watching today and tomorrow with lots of bid thieves still out there. At the least, you want Oshkosh to win so they don't take a Pool C bid. You want North Park over Elmhurst, Wooster over Wabash, WPI over Babson, Keene St over W. Conn., among others.
