Payne was sporadic. Easy to mis-judge on one performance.I assume the info is legit, but without confirmation that it came from a source, doubt remains.

I saw him in the Conference tournament game at UW-W. I thought he was really good. I'm no expert, but I thought he showed good footwork in the post.

I have always had a fondness for Oshkosh, WI.  It is the only location in the state I have visited.  How can that be?  When I was young, my dad had a small plane and we went to the air show, I believe was called "Wings over America". It was a very memorable experience during my youth.

I believe UWO vs Rowan is an absolute toss up. Good luck to both squads.

Wow. Whitewater extends the game just enough to force OT. JHU makes a FT with 3 seconds to go, Whitewater tosses a long ball in, nearly going out of bounds, but a Whitewater player saves it and throws it to near the top of the 3-point line and Devin Barnstable is fouled with .3 seconds left...makes both FTs to tie the game and send it into OT.

Whitewater hits a pair of FT's with no time left on thr clock to force OT... Thr Warhawks were down six with 0:40 left but were able to come back thanks in part to Johns Hopkins going just 3-for-8 from the charity stripe in the in the final 0:45...

Oshkosh also advances, the WIAC isn't such a bad conference after all.

Very nice press conference in Alliance. Good questions to both teams by Pat, Ryan, and Drew. Amazing to have three of the greats there covering this sectional.

Rowan style was really able to limit Borchert's impact on the stat sheet. Borchert's and Oshkosh's ability to pass out and find open shooters was amazing. Huge nights behind him the arc for Mahoney, Booth, and Plamann. 16 made threes is their most on the season.

Oshkosh played pretty good defense too against Rowan's style. Good win. Second game in Alliance just underway.

Maybe?   ;)

Whitewater hits a pair of FT's with 0:06 and survives a missed three point attempt to escape with a hard fought 83-82 victory and advance to the Elite 8!

(Edit: I tried posting this probably a dozen times after the game on my phone yesterday and kept getting a "Database Error" message....  Of course it posts now from my computer...  ::) )

With the WIAC going 4-0 this weekend, I can't help but wonder how La Crosse might've fared, especially after seeing the UAA put five teams in the tournament but failing to get a single team through to the Sweet 16...  (I know, La Crosse was not the same team from earlier in the season with Anderson trying to play through an injury...)
Make it 6-0 now this Postseason....  The point still remains!

How the f is this happening???

The Hawks are playing for something bigger than themselves.  They believe in each other and are playing for each other and #DG4.

It's real, it's rare, and it's special. Enjoy it!

Go Warhawks!
