I'd be very surprised if he suited up for the Pointers moving forward....

Last night after a slow start, Oshkosh turned up the jets, especially better defensively and ended up cruising in the second half to an 88-58 win over Illinois Tech. Mahoney was the leading scorer and will be focal point every night as expected. Had to know Dalton was going to get playing time and had a good first game for a freshman in 15 minutes. Got to the basket to ease a few times. Michael Metcalf-Grassman was a nice surprise and played pretty well and was able to defend.

A good base to start from for the Titans. Certainly plenty to grow from and learn from and improve. Next up is the GLI.

Someone I trust and played for the Pointers mentioned to me last year that Val Caster struggled defensively which isn't unusual for a freshman in the WIAC. I know he was smoothe offensively at freedom and really could do it all between shooting the 3 and putting ball on floor and driving to the basket. As much as I hate seeing a kid with his skill level and upside leave the program there appears to be an abundance of talent this year I'm sure someone will fill the void. When Parker Prahl isn't in your rotation either you know you have a star studded roster top to bottom because he can flat out play both ends and is extremely athletic. Hope some kids rise to the rotation or are ready if injuries happen which they will it happens to everyone such a tough physical league!
GOTTA LOVE ACT 10

Well, I have no idea what the circumstances are and I'm not going to just hate on someone because they are no longer a Pointer. You obviously know more than me, but you're not disclosing that information.

River Falls lost a one point game to Concordia MN. Last minute shot flips the game.  I couldn't get the ifan broadcast to work. Time to retire ifan platform IMO.

RF lost without all conference Noah Hanson, just now able to practice after coming off a serious knee injury and with a surprising debut of Zac Johnson, transfer from Augustana (SD) and RFHS grad with 20 points. Also without Rodrick Payne, transferred to Western Illinois. RF should finish higher than 5th place, as predicted.

Rough start for the post-Dernbach La Crosse era, falling to Superior, 69-64. They were down by 17 early in the 2nd half and down 13 with under 6 minutes to play. The Eagles did cut it to 3 with about 2 1/2 minutes to go.

JJ Paider didn't play for La Crosse, I would assume injury.  Definitely a big missing piece for the Eagles there.

Gustavus Adolphus: 59
WARHAWKS: 88

The WARHAWKS were unable to hold a ten point lead over the last six minutes of the first half and trailed 36-35 when it ended.  We regained the lead right away in the second half and GA stayed within 10 points for the first eight and half minutes before the WARHAWKS put the game away.

Miles Barnstable led all scorers with 22 points. James Kelly had 21 points and led the team with 9 rebounds. Trevon Chislom was good for 16 points and Delvin Barnstable for 11.  Jamar Barker had a game high 8 assists. As a team the WARHAWKS had 17 assists and only 4 turnovers.

The WARHAWKS host St Mary's (MN) tonight.

I just don't think it's my place to share the specific details of something that doesn't concern me.... With that said, I'll say this... His removal from the roster wasn't necessarily a "choice" made by anyone... When you have been kicked out of school, the decision has been made for everyone involved. (And no, he wasn't kicked out for grade issues...)
