One of the worst kept secrets if I even heard about this a few months ago. Really interesting there hasn't been any official announcement yet. Point recruited him pretty intensely. I think he'll make the Point team.

Former Kettle Moraine Lutheran 6'1" G, Carter Cobin, will continue his basketball career at Whitewater.  Cobin transferred for his senior year from Lutheran to the DME Academy in Wisconsin.

Greenville schedule is out. No WIAC teams. Carroll U travels to Greenville this year as well. Greenville does nothing but provide entertainment value. They are fun to watch though.

BTW, no WIAC teams on the Grinnell schedule either.

UW-Oshkosh just made the big switch from Presto to Sidearm. Platteville the last one left with Presto in the WIAC.

Trine's schedule has been posted on Twitter. The defending national champs come to Quandt to take on the Pointers on Saturday, December 7. Last year, Point missed a potential game winner at the buzzer down in Angola. In addition to Trine, Point also has the potential to play both Christopher Newport and Randolph-Macon in North Carolina.

^^^ So, Point might be playing each of the three immediate past national champions. Interesting.

I'm pretty sure I've been told they're doing the Jay Bilas in Classic format - with the two VA schools playing each of the midwest schools, so they get a maximum of cross-region games.

6'7" Darlington F, Will Murray, committed to Oshkosh.  That's a really good get for the Titans.

"No value?"  I would agree that this may be true vis-a-vis the style played in the WIAC, but if you happen to run into a system team in a playoff game, it may be nice to have seen it before.  Sure most powerful teams will figure it out eventually during the game.  But when GU had Augie down 17 in the first half in the first round of the NCAAs, I suspect that they may have liked to have had the experience of a ultra pace team in their back pocket and not have to rely on a big second half run to survive and advance.  For example, Augie was settling for contested 2's and even had their huge post guys taking 10 footers in the first half.  While watching, I was asking myself, if they were properly prepared for the game.  Second half corrections in style led to a steady stream of dunks and a few well timed 3s.  They learned, but it was a risk.

And I do agree that GU is fun to watch.  Best to see it in person, if possible.
