Does anyone know who the 28 year old transfer is the Pointers got in the portal? I believe I heard he played at Spash and then went down somewhere in Florida and is still awesome all around player!

CCIW's IWU schedule is out. Only 2 potential WIAC teams on their schedule. They could play Platteville in their tip-off tournament on Saturday. They also have Stout a week later. No UWSP this season. I guess they got sick of losing to them the last 2 years. LOL

Former UW-Oshkosh guard, Jay Dalton, is transferring to Whitewater.  Dalton showed a lot of promise as a freshman with the Titans.

tomt4525

Former Platteville G, Will Gardner, is transferring to UWSP.  Gardner had a huge senior high school season, didn't get much playing time last season at Platteville.  He should have 3 years of eligibility remaining.

Wow - 12 recruits for UWSP is a huge class. Biggest I can ever remember.

I wonder how much roster turn- over there might be from last year's returners with a class that big.

Roster has 18 last year, with 3 seniors, I think. Brings it to 27 before any cuts... unless there's been a JV schedule added that I missed at some point.

But I have, admittedly, not been paying that close of attention.

Myles Coleman was in the portal. I imagine a few others have already decided to leave the program. There are a few committed players that probably weren't even recruited, so they probably won't make the team. Competition usually makes you better!
