The NPI rankings can change even if the team doesn't play. However, I'll only update the NPI rankings after each conference game day.

1. Platteville (11-1, 66.94) - Pool A
6. La Crosse (10-2, 63.50) - Pool C #2
20. Stevens Point (10-2, 60.62) - Pool C #11
27. Oshkosh (9-3, 59.83) - Pool C #18
64. Eau Claire (8-4, 56.86) - Pool C #44
145. Whitewater (7-5, 52.50) 0- Pool C #110
235. River Falls (6-6, 48.17) - Pool C #193
268. Stout (5-7, 46.78) - Pool C #225

Wednesday's schedule

Platteville at La Crosse
Eau Claire at Oshkosh
Stout at River Falls
Stevens Point at Whitewater

Assuming a modest level of bid thefts, how many Pool C bids will likely get in?

Greek Tragedy

All the Pool C bids get in. There's 21 of them.

What they're asking is what number do you need to be before conference tournaments to have a decent shot of actually getting in.  I think 18 is definitely in the danger zone.  11 is probably pretty safe.

'95 Blugold

Blugolds go on the road and get a nice 69-56 victory over Oshkosh. Except for the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half where the Blugolds had turnover issues a nice all around game for Eau Claire.

Greek Tragedy

Point gets a nice road win, 86-67 over Whitewater. They were up 70-50 with 10 to go, but the hosts cut the lead to 70-61 with about 7 to go. Point was able to pull away with some timely baskets and offensive rebounds.

Platteville went on the road again and got another impressive W over another ranked conference opponent in La Crosse, 83-75.

As mentioned, an impressive win by Eau Claire on the road at Oshkosh, 69-56. The Titans looked good in the non-conference, knocking off the likes of Calvin, North Park and Keene St. But, apparently, the WIAC is a different animal. The Blugolds had a 15-point halftime lead.

And Stout completed the WIAC away sweep with a come-from-behind win at River Falls, 66-64. The visitors were down 9 at halftime.

palum

Platteville wins a close game over La Crosse 83-75. It was a back and forth game with 7 ties and 8 lead changes. Where Platteville had a big advantage was at the FT line they were 14 of 14 from the line while La Crosse was 17 of 25. Platteville now has road wins over Stevens Point and La Crosse the two teams that were picked to be near the top of the WIAC in the pre-season poll.

*Oshkosh's stud sophomore, Michael Metcalf-Grassman only played 4 minutes.
I hate to speculate and I hope that I am wrong. But he went down with what appeared a knee injury. He was in a lot of pain. Prayers for the best and that he is back soon.

On a side note, it's nice to see ex-Pointer AJ Uttech doing well at Stout. 19 points last night in a win over Oshkosh. Double-figures in points in all but 2 games (the 1st two). Glad he found a place.

AJ Uttech hit the game winner last night.

You should watch the 20-30 seconds of game time directly before the game winner.

And a 25 point per game scorer.  Titans had to and may need to continue to create a completely different offense, or so it appears.
