Paulding--Think you're right. Coach B. gave Falcon starters frequent rests. For almost the entire last five minutes of the first half, no Falcon starters were on the floor and the reserves did not lose any advantage. The 14-6 margin in o.t.was despite 5 missed free throws.

MESSAGE TO RECRUITS:  IN DOUBT? ENROLL AT STOUT. DON'T CARE? GO TO EAU CLAIRE. AT A LOSS? TRY LACROSSE. FEELIN' OUTTA JOINT? YOUR PLACE IS POINT. DON'T LIKE THE REST? DO WHAT'S BEST!

GOT BALLS? PLAY FOR THE FALLS!

That's your game recap? LOL

Point has to virtually win out or at least go 3-0 before their regular season finale at La Crosse. At Oshkosh (lost to them at home), vs Eau Claire (lost to them on the road) and at Stout (squeaked one out at home).

Eau Claire probably needs to knock off Platteville, for starters, this week. Then at Point, host Oshkosh and Whitewater.

So Point, Oshkosh and Eau Claire just need to win the WIAC tournament. It's no big deal.

Biggest takeaway I got from the Pointer Hoops Radio Show last night......next year, the online stream for UWSP games will have 3 camera angles instead of just the 1.  For someone who has to watch almost all games on the stream, that's exciting.

I just discovered the WIAC Network smart TV app on Saturday.  Seems like they're working to increase the production value.

I have noticed that the audio isn't always synced up with the video.

They're going to need everybody up to a minimum production level to get the most out of monetization.

Does the UW Stevens Point Natural Resources Program have any snowmobiles?  I am sure that the team could make it to Oshkosh. I'd be willing to drive one if need be.

And respond to an earlier question. Oshkosh and Whitewater production I've noticed are very similar. Multi view and student announcers when school is in session. Single camera, no announcers when school is not. Problem for basketball there's a lot of "not" time in January when a lot the conference games are played.

Seems unusual that a school with an acclaimed Radio TV Film program like UW-Oshkosh doesn't have student coverage of all these games, regardless of the term length.  After all, the experience is needed and the WIAC provides it.

Lots of great sportscasters and TV sports folks from there. Bill Jartz, John Krause, Greg Matzek, Burke Griffin just to name a few.  I considered that esteemed program before staying in Point as the family needed me near the chickens. I hope to make millions when I expand the chicken operations and I hope to fund some NIL for Dernbach and the Lady Dawgs when I make it big.

'95 Blugold

Eau Claire fall 72-50 at home against #3 Platteville. Blugolds were within 2 at 24-26 a little under 4 minutes left in the first half, but things fell apart from there. Turnovers and some missed easy shots by Eau Claire left them in a 10 point deficit at half. Shortly into the 2nd half the Pioneers extended it to 20 and cruised from there on out.

No idea how they did it, but Point pulled out a come-from-behind 76-75 victory at Oshkosh to keep their slim Pool C hopes alive (assuming they don't win the AQ, of course).

La Crosse also won. Stout beat River Falls 82-81.
