Eagles facing "the system" tonight. Can the guards handle the pressure ? What will be the attendance in the 6000 seat Center ?

Greek Tragedy

I heard tix for the 2 games are around $24?? For the single game tomorrow, it's also $24??

When Oshkosh plays their Winter Classic at the Oshkosh Arena, it's more than an on-campus event.

The host manual says it should be $15 each day, but I just walked into the gym at Franklin & Marshall and they're selling adult tickets for $10.  I have no idea.

This has all the ingredients of upset.

Tickets for tonight at Platteville are $15 adult but $10 for senior adults.

I looked that up and Oshkosh event has 4 games, 2 men and 2 women's.  It appears if you watch the first you can stay for them all. Their women's team is pretty good, too. Beat up on my Lady Dawgs.

Greek Tragedy

Speaking of women. Point women miss 2 free throws and a missed shot. Wartburg gets the inbounds pass in and gets a weak foul off a screen. Wartburg hits both FTS to win by one. Tough loss for the Lady Dawgs.

Stertorous Thunder

It's really great that the Pioneer fans have completely packed their small gym, but I have an unpopular take. Plateville should never be permitted to host another tournament game until someone invests in an elevated platform for the main camera operator. I tuned in to watch Grinnell and what might be one of the more interesting matchups tonight but now I'm switching over to another game. The announcers are good and the camera work is very crisp and well done, but I'm going to elect to not watch a screen where 1/4 of my field of vision is taken up by the backs of people's heads, no matter how good the basketball and production value are on the other 3/4. It's a shame.

Box score said a little over 1,000 in attendance. Game photos looked like the lower seats were full the upper seats and the ends not so much.

1069 was the exact number, and your description is accurate. Good crowd by La Crosse standards.

I was perfectly happy with the crowd and how it looked yesterday. Didn't look much different than an early-round D-I site with lots of empty seats.

La Crosse wins, Platteville loses. IwU and Wash U both won, so I'm guessing IWU will host.

True, but that's not always a guarantee, is it?
