Oh ya,
1. It's WHITEWATER led not "WHITEWATER lead." I'm certain of that. ;D

I was talking about the metal lead, though! Or something like that.  ;)

PS and OS:

I heard Semling was irate on the bus back to Point and made the team run the last 3 miles back to Quandt.  Is that true or is someone pulling my chain?  ???

A crazy situation last Friday night in Platteville.

The BlueDevils bus broke down on the outskirts of Platt.
The local cab company said it was too close to their closing time to help out.

The players, coaches and staff were saved by the Platteville Police Department by shuttling them to the hotel.

One player was quoted as saying "this is the first time I've got to sit in the front seat."  :D

Both schools are called Marian. In fact, we have to deal with schools every fall who don't know the difference and post games against the Indiana Marian as if they were against the Wisconsin Marian.

LOL!

Hey, didn't Stout have bus troubles coming home from their season-opening tournament...?  I thought I remembered someone saying that.

I think it's time for Stout to get a new bus/bus company!!

Oshkosh continued their inconsistent performance, looking nothing like a league leading team today, losing 56-54 to RF. The small t titans were sloppy first half and couldn't shoot well as they fell to 33-22 at the break.

They played better second half, taking a 56-52 lead w/3:06 left. The Falcons Hoeg sank 2 throws w/six seconds to play and the game was tied at 56. Osh. threw it away on the inbound pass and RF managed a six foot buzzer beater to end it.

Jahnke,  blanked from three range first half, hit 6 of them second half to lead Oshkosh w/20 pts. I dont think anybody else was in double figures.

Zylstra got the better of Gibson in the big man matchup , 13 pts. to 6.

Hoeg hit 20 for RF, including five threes.

The small t titans

I'm not sure there ARE any big t titans at the moment.  The pre-season poll, with Titans in the top two spots seems somehow s-o-o-o long ago.

IWU lost at home on Wednesday to drop to 4-3 in the CCIW - that was their second home conference loss this season, after averaging one loss a year (conference AND nonconference AND tourney) in the decade-or-so since the Shirk Center opened.

I STILL think that man-for-man they are the most talented team in the country, but SOMETHING is sure missing lately.  My heart still thinks they will win in Salem; my head is no longer sure they will even get the chance!

tough loss for Point tonite 66-67 against Edgewood College any one at the game

UWEC over UWP 56-51.

UWEC led pretty much the entire game but UWP cut the lead down to 3 late in the game.  EC's zone defense gave UWP some very wide open looks from outside, however UWP didn't hit any of them.  I don't recall seeing them make a shot outside of 15feet.

joe werner had a great statline in the lax's victory tonight

13 boards, 10 points, 7 assists...............not a bad game for the big guy

Wha?  La Crosse is the only "favorite" to win tonight...

EC beat Platte,
RF beat Oshy,
Stout beat WW, in Whitewater
Edgewood beat Point
LaX beat Superior, in Superior

The WIAC seems to be especially wacky this season...!

In the UWRF vs Oshkosh game only 4 free throws were shot total...

Thats a bit bizare what the heck kind of game was it.

Oshkosh shoots no free throws the entire game and both teams committ only 7 fouls each the entire game.

Can someone who was at the game explain this.
