FYI- I called the ticket office, and you can buy tickets by phone with a credit card. They will not be available till sometime Tuesday. The number for the ticket office is 262-472-2222.

Could we possibly see a UW-Whitewater/UW-Stout vs. UW-LaCrosse in the national championship???

That might be jumping ahead of ourselves, huh?

Here's some info I found on game tickets. OS, PS, Swamp,  would probably be a good idea to call as early as possible.

Tickets: Whitewater is allotted 1300 tickets for Friday's game (sections A and C). Tickets are $3 for UW-W students with ID, $6 for general admit and $7 for reserved seating (chairbacks). Section A is for Whitewater fans students and/or adults (it is general admission within the section). Section C is reserved seating (chairbacks) for Whitewater fans. Sections B and D are for visiting teams... *Please alert the ticket personnel which team/section you want.  The Williams Center ticket windows will open at 4:00 on Friday. Tickets for Saturday's game will be available immediately following the 8:00 p.m. game on Friday night and the ticket windows will reopen on Saturday at 3:00. Tickets CAN be purchased/reserved by credit card for Friday's game by calling the ticket office at 262.472.2222 - those tickets can then be picked up at the Will Call window on Friday. To purchase your tickets in-person prior to Friday (beginning TUESDAY morning), you can go to either the Ticket Office on the first floor of the University Center -or- the Ticket Outlet office in the Center of the Arts. For more information, please contact the ticket office at: 262.472.2222

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis until sold out. Please get your tickets reserved or come early on Friday

Good luck guys

Any thoughts from the UW-LaCrosse supporters out there about their trip to Holland and facing Calvin and potentially Hope?

I'd be interested in tickets to just Friday night's games, if a WW fan could pick one up with me.  I'll even sit with Swampgoon and Old School if it makes it easier  :D

I think with Illinois Wesleyan at this regional, these tickets will be a hot commodity, and the gym will be packed.  Should make for a great atmosphere!
PointSpecial - You are right about the tickets.  IWU averaged 2470 attendance at home 1282 away this season.   In most away games, the crowd usually consists of about 80% IWU fans.  IWU allocation for UW-Whitewater Regional is 433; and, already looking for more wherever it can find them.

Old School and Stout Guys:

Does this mean that if UW-Oshkosh had beaten UW-LaCrosse the "Rat Patrol" would have played in the NCAA tournament?  That seems implausible to me.

No, but if Oshkosh had beaten La Crosse, the Eagles almost certainly would have been left out.  By all accounts they were one of the last at-large teams selected.
