What a miserable day that will be.

Lawrence's 2007 schedule...

What a miserable season that will be.

When is Lawrence having their "Undefeated Regular Season" banner raising ceremony?  :D :'(

Now, now, OS,

Just because poLU is probably making all 'real' LU posters cringe in embarassment, don't take it out on Lawrence!  Even with the loss of Braier, I predict they'll be right in the thick of things (though it will likely be a LONG time before another undefeated regular season, or even conference season, comes along).

Ypsi,

Since I quoted proudofLU, that means it was directed to him.  I know that LU will still be pretty good next year, even without Braier and McGillis (he's gone too, right?).  Anyway, I did try to lighten it up a bit, unlike the aforemented Lawrence fan, I did put the tongue-in-cheek, sarcastic   ":D :'(  " at the end of my post.  ;D

BDB,

I'll try to make sure there aren't any outdoor hockey games at Lambeau on that date!  ::)

Whoops. So noted in the Daytimer.

Speaking of Daytimers, I don't actually use one. Everything is held in the noggin'. But stoutguy and I still laugh about the time that we were at a booster club luncheon and we were sitting next to 3 guys that are all retired and in their 70's.

They decided they were going to go to something or other together and all 3 pulled out their Daytimers. Stoutguy and I laughed out loud. "What the hell do you guys need Daytimers for?"

???  :D  ;)

LU is not Beloit.  We don't hang banners, but we do fill up cases full of MWC trophies.

That they do, but it's those ones that say, "NCAA" on it that seem to be hard to get.  Are they the team to beat next year, or what is Carroll, Ripon and Grinnell's outlook?

I think Carroll and LU will be the best teams.  Ripon should be but they seem to be leaderless and don't take advantage of their talent.

Carroll should be the favorite.  And its a girls name.

no offense buf.........

I am from the northwoods to some degree and most of the quality players in teh wiac do not come from northwest all star teams...........I mean i don't doubt some aren't good players but the quality of basketball 'up north' isn't as good as the south of the state...........football, that's a different story
