No posts about tonight's games yet, how long does it take Lax and Point people to get home.  I'm trying to be patient.

Although it's a great honor just to be in the same area code as diehardfan, I can't claim that it's much of an honor to chat with me.  Afterall, 10,000 Wittenberg fans can't be wrong! 

I was just looking for a way to drop the name "Kalispell" into the conversation; it brings back many good memories.  In fact, the tent I use in my travels was puchased in Kalispell the last time I was through there (about 18 months ago.)  And I may be back there sooner rather than later...good times.

lax was awesome tonight.

First game I have made all year and I can't tell you the change.  Long gone are the days of being 1 of 150 specifically going to watch another team or player play (river falls with Melzer) at Mitchell Hall.  The student support for Lax was awesome.  I don't know if it has been remotely like this all year but the team actually has support.  A major credit, I can't believe I am saying this as his harshest critic in the past, to Coach Koelbl and what he has done.  I never imagined I would go to a Lax hoops game to watch a talented team play but it sure was fun tonight.  The environment was awesome.  

Ask and Werner are amazing ballplayers.  Brandon Brown knows how to control a game and is an awesome point guard.  Just plain old fun, and I haven't had that true sense of watching a winner at Mitchell till tonight.

It can be heard on WMEQ.com from 8-10am with all 14 feet of us on in the 9 o'clock hour.

Honestly, I am usually extremely embarrassed by the fact that players and/or coaches even know who I am. I'm much more comfortable when I go up to talk to a player like I did on Monday to Redland's Amir Mazarei and say, "Hi I just want to tell you how much I've enjoyed watching you play" and they say thank you in a polite way, but they have no idea who you are, because frankly, I'm not anybody to begin with.

As mere posters on a message board, we are not, by any stretch of the imagination, the important ones when it comes to DIII hoops. The games would obviously go on without us. I am personally honored that you guys put up with us talking like we know what we're talking about when we really don't!

I always love it when former players become posters. You guys add so much to the boards. Please stick around even if you move away and don't get to see games extremely often.

And now it appears that the Lax and Point posters are arriving home, so I'll shut up and allow for some serious discussion!
