That's a great story, you guys.  Thanks for sharing it.  I wish I'd know all that when you came to Wooster last year, and I wish I'd introduced myself.  :)

would have been great to meet you but maybe in the future...

My first endorement if possible would be D3Hoops.com ... Could wear hats, t-shirts or even a D3Hoops.com tie  ;D

How do you think Wooster stays in the top 10 all the time?   ;) ;D

Wow, incredible detail on the Johnnies from VOJ. He shouldn't have gone so over board.  :D

Don't josh with me, you know you spread your spiffy little tables all over the board like you're Tommy Appleseed. :)

Is it to late to change the WIAC/CCIW challange to the WIAC/MWC challange as Carrol beat Augie in first round..... WOW

Let this be a warning to Point, in the national tourny teams that you would beat 9 out of 10 will do everything to win that 1.  Not that Carrol was'nt already a good team but i did not see this coming. We played Augie twice last year ane they looked very good and had a good core back this year. Great job by Carrol

Maybe if we play the Pioneers, we can add an "L" to Carrol(L) lol.

I don't think we really need a MWC/WIAC challenge, at least an official one.  There are plenty of games between the two conferences already.  Whitewater plays Carroll every year and Oshkosh plays Lawrence every year.  Point played LU, Carroll and Ripon (Ripon, seemingly on a regular basis) and Oshkosh also played Grinnell and St. Norbs, off the top of my head.

It's tough because you guys West of Point are pretty far away, so I guess EC, St, RF and LX and PL must be content on playing the MIAC, while SP, WW, and OSH play the MWC...and Superior, those d2 schools and Finlandia and Northland! lol

it seems like some teams have the wiac season after the mwc season ;D

is Edgewood in that conference? they play some wiac schools.

Its true we play miac, d2 and area naia schools plus Northland and Finlandia.  I am always up for some top teams all year even though it ruins our chances at the postseason.  I do feel that sometimes teams play a softer schedual then get beat early in the conference season to teams that end up in the bottom.

Edgewood is in the Northern Athletics Conference, home to such teams as Marian, Dominican and Lakeland. And, of course, Aurora, who hosts a pod.

MIAC games are too far.  We had a series against St Johns in the earlier part of this decade, but haven't played a team from that conference since 01-02 season.  We are guaranteed (the last four seasons anyway) 2 games against the IIAC, with the Mississippi River Challenge games with the three Dubuque schools, which the Pioneers always play Dubuque and Loras.  This year the Pioneers actually played 4 games against that conference, going 3-1 with the lone loss to Clarke.

BDshotblocker and Stout survivor, thanks for sharing your stories.  It's nice to hear good success stories like that, especially when there hasn't been an ending yet.  I wish you both well in SUCCEEDING at the next level, whether it is hoops or a professional career.
