Thanks for the response. Ha. It's been like a quarter burning a hole in the pocket of a kid in the penny candy store, so I'll get this bad pun groaner out of the way:

dunk in German might be the actual act, followed by a polite "thank you very much?" so therefore "dunka" shon? = danke schon... ;)

Bouncer!  You can remove this gentleman.  He's well beyond his limit.

Stout fans, any truth to the rumors Ive heard that Cole Kraft may end up transferring to Stout to play hoops? Initially I only heard said info from less than reputable sources, but lately its been coming from some people familiar with the program. I still dont think its a scenario that will happen, but I wanted to know if someone more in tune with Blue Devil hoops could shed some light.

Speaking with him recently I do get the impression that the thought has crossed his mind.  But Winona State has also expressed interest in his basketball skills so we will have wait and see.  He is a GREAT player and if he does come to join the Blue Devils it would be a huge upgrade for Stout.

Superior just got their 3rd committment from a Top 50 Wisconsin HS Senior.   Greg Roeder from Mercer picked Superior over numerous D2 schools, including powerhouse Winona St.  Roeder joins fellow "top 50" players in Rhinelander's Jake Smith and Altoona's Shane Manor at Superior.

It looks like Superior's coaching staff is really making strides and putting a lot of effort in on their recruiting.

Wow. That is impressive. I'm not familiar with Shane Manor but I would expect Jake Smith to contribute as a freshman. He has probably faced the toughest competition of the three in high school. Having lived in Mercer for a while I can say that Roeder may need a year or two as their strength of schedule isn't that much to talk about.

And Superior just added Dan Culy from Rice Lake -- who will be a very good SG in the WIAC. That is a terrific recruiting class. As a UWEC alum, I would kill to see Gibby put together a class like that.

Haven't heard anything, Old School.  Brian will have to speak for himself.

How many years of eligibility would he have left?  I thought he played JUCO too.

Miles Webb only has 2 year left (I believe).  Redshirt at the U, one year at a Juco, and one year at Idaho (close to my neck of the woods)

I thought so too, but Idaho listed him as a junior, so I'm not so sure.

Saw in today's paper that tomorrow's La Crosse Tribune will have an article about Werner's quest for an NFL career.
