In case you were wondering, Felix Frankfurter (retired 1962, died 1965) and Warren Burger (appointed 1969) did not serve together on the Supreme Court.  And, for you vegetarians, Salmon P. Chase's term ended 66 years before Frankfurter's appointment.

Homer (taking nuclear physics exam): Okay, brain. You don't like me, and I don't like you. But let's just get through this thing, and then I can continue killing you with beer.

Sager's last post was one of his most useful of the 5,600 he supposedly has left for us.  ::)

Barney: Hello, my name is Barney Gumble, and I'm an alcoholic.
Lisa: Mr Gumble, this is a girl scouts meeting.
Barney: Is it, or is it you girls can't admit that you have a problem?

Homer: Son, when you participate in sporting events, it's not whether you win or lose: it's how drunk you get.

:D :D

I couldn't let a Simpsons quote fest go by without contributing something.

Homer: How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?
Marge: You were drunk, Homer.
Homer: And how!

No Simpson  quote fest can go by without this classic......

Homer: Here's to alcohol, the cause of—and solution to—all life's problems.

Homer: When will I learn?  The answer to life's problems aren't at the bottom of a bottle, they're on TV!

And one of my all time favorites:

Homer: Oh Lisa, you and your stories... Bart is a Vampire... Beer kills off braincells... Now lets go back to that... building.... where bed and tv.... is

FYI:
Melzer is playing with the Spurs Summerleague team.
Yesterday against Golden State he scored 21 points on 8-10 from the fiield and 3-5 from the arc in 24 minutes of play.

Those are pretty nice numbers!

Who freaking cares about the Simpsons.

The TV show and now its movie sister are representative of all that is wrong in today's society.  A world in which the hero is an extremely over-weight, gluttonous, insensitive moron.

And don't even give the message of irony because it doesn't apply!

I'm sure there are plenty of message boards and fan forums for the Simpsons ... this is for basketball ... please spew your drivel elsewhere!
