Jeff Skemp is a pre-season All-American according to Sporting News.

It's great. Everyone is getting excited, because we can almost hear the shoes squeaking on the floor, bodies bangin underneath, whistles, and incessant sreaming at officials because their glasses are all fogged up!

Brian Carroll is having trouble posting on this site. He contacted Mr. Coleman, but as far as I know, he still can't post.

Thanks Charlie, it was really beginning to worry me since I have not heard from him in such a long time. I was thinking about calling around to my people and finding out if he was ok. It really began to concern me! lol :-) I mean, he has such important and insightful information! Thanks for letting all of us know. ha ha ha.

Downtown, did you catch that volleyball match up there last night. It went the full five, WARHAWKS rally from 2-1 deficit to take the match.

WARHAWKS capture their sixth regular season championship since 2000 and, with a win Tuesday over #8 seed Stout, will host the final four of the conference tournament with the automatic bid on the line. Depending on how the conference tournament plays out we could see as many as four WIAC teams in the national tournament.

I think he could be back-to-back conference POY (not a gimme with the likes of Rortvedt and Enerson-Mathews) and an All-American as long as he stays healthy. Who is his size in the WIAC this year?? If there is someone close it would have to be his first year. Skemp is a VERY VERY talanted big man.

Since I've relocated to the Appleton area I might have to check out the UWGB vs UWSup game on Halloween!!

Skemp is going to be an issue for everyone else this year, no doubt about that. BTW, how is the overseas situation developing for yourself and your brother?

Just wanted to mention that the 2007-08 WARHAWK men's basketball team will take the court Saturday morning, 10am, for their intersquad game. Admission is free and so is the coffee.

The scrimmage is followed by the football game vs Mary Harden Baylor.

Falcon Roster has finally been released

A couple of new names via transfer.

Willie Wright - Senior - 6-4 - (Transfer) - University of Missouri-Rolla (Minneapolis, Minn.)
Wright joins the Falcons after transferring from The University of Missouri-Rolla. Prior to attending Rolla, he was an All-State selection at Anoka-Ramsey Community College during the 2004-05 season.

DiJon Reese - Junior - 5-9 - (Transfer) - Riverland Community College (Minneapolis, Minn.)
Reese was an All-State selection in the Minnesota Community College Conference during the 2006-07 season where he averaged 19.3 point, nine assists and five rebounds a game.

Steve Farmer - Junior - 6-8 - (Transfer) - Minnesota-Morris (Fridley, Minn.)
Farmer joins the Falcons after transferring from the University of Minnesota-Morris where he averaged 9.5 point and 4.5 rebounds a game during the 2006-07 season. He attended Fridley High School and was an All-State Honorable Mention selection as a senior.
