Well that was entertaining...a little too entertaining if you ask me.  Congrats to UWL for a well fought game.  I know they'll be disappointed with the final result, but hats off to them.

Hopefully we can get some imput from the Lax fans that were there.  Pioneers only 4-15 from 3 tonight.  Only three made after halftime, was Lohoff's in the 2nd overtime I believe.

I take that back, it was in the first overtime.  Jeff ends with 29 pts 16 bds.

Great game in Mitchell Hall tonight.  Skemp is a load.  We should have won in regulation, but Platteville fought their way back to a tie.  In crunch time, the biggest advantage for Platteville seemed to me to be their perimeter players shaking loose and slashing to the basket for easy shots.

Congratulations to Platteville on pulling out a tough road game.

I would have to say one of the most exciting "Game Days"...ever?  One game goes to double-overtime, and two others go into one overtime.  Unfortunately for me (pick em league) and the Pointers (Platteville and Oshkosh won), every team I wanted to win, lost!

Anyone bored and want to look up to see if that's ever happened before (3 games going at least one overtime on the same "day")?

Sounds like a lot of work :D

Quite the night last night for the wife and I at home.  Had the Pioneers on the radio, live stats up on one browser, Belmont High School boys game on the other browser, Indiana/Illinois muted on the TV.  Pioneers win in 2 OT, Belmont won by 1, and Indiana/Illinois go double OT as well.

Mr. Downtown

In the history of the WIAC, never have three of the 4 games entered overtime. So this week was indeed historical.

2 Overtimes in single days has happened twice before. In seasons 04-05 (Lax vs SP & Super vs Osh) and in 02-03 (EC vs WW & Platt vs Stout).

I hope that answers the question.

Mr DT,

Also in the conference tourney in 04-05, WW vs. Stout and Osh vs. EC went to OT.

I wonder what the record for OT games in a row is...?  In my investigation of the above, I found that EC played in 3 consecutive OT games in 99-00...

Rd 1.  92-85 over Stout
Rd 2. 71-55 over Oshkosh
Rd 3. 59-56 loss to SP
