Superb athlete. I can already see how how he fits in at Point.

Griffin is a fun shooter to watch. Shoot-to-get-hot, shoot-to-stay-hot sort of guy. Don't know how many shots he will get at Point, but that's where shooters go to school.

If Weed is going to contribute for Point, he is going to have to get better on the defensive end.  I had the opportunity to watch him play in the Sectional Semifinals this past season, and he really struggled.  Roncalli had a 6'5" player who was able to consistently pull the ball on the floor and go right by him.  My guess is is that is the type of player he will be matching up with at the college level as well.

From Wishoops:

Aquinas' Morrissey to play college basketball at UW-Eau Claire

Lucas Morrissey of La Crosse Aquinas has decided to play collegiate basketball for coach Terry Gibbons at UW-Eau Claire.

An extremely versatile and complete basketball player, the 6-foot-3 Morrissey had an outstanding senior season while leading the traditionally strong Blugolds to the WIAA Division 3 state championship.

Morrissey averaged 13.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per contest as Aquinas finished the season with a 24-3 record.

"Lucas is such a smart player that he'll be an asset at the next level," Aquinas coach Rick Schneider said. "He's valuable in a lot of different areas. Most importantly, he's a winner. Eau Claire is getting a heck of a basketball player."

During Morrissey's three years of varsity competition, Aquinas went 70-7.

He is a strong player, Oldgold.  My understanding is that he was considering La Crosse, but we are already overloaded at guard.

Hope he has success at EC.

Prince is a very nice player...he'll push for minutes next year and Stovall will be a contributor down the road.

I wish WW would post their recruits like everyone else.  It's always tough putting a name to a face that way.

UWW is already asking their recruits to gray shirt as they will be senior laden this year. Could this mean a possible run to Salem ??

Which means they'll likely not get many recuits, if any in this year's class.  Most decent high school players do not want to grey-shirt and most have options to play elsewhere.  Besides, UWW has shown a higher propensity to bring in transfers that tend to scare some recruits away.

You have to admit with 9 seniors next year (assuming all return) that PT will be minimal for any underclassmen.
