Nice article (more than mentions) on EMU, however I think R-MC is number 1 in D-III. Come to think of it VWC and Guilford are ranked higher then EMU. I think Coach Davis needs to look no farther for his caulkboard material.
Hey maybe now we will see R-MC play a full game !?! Thanks hugenerd for the heads up.

Poll's out - 1, 6, 8 and 18.  It's crowded at the top, so RMC and GC add points, but no change in positions from last week.  VWC, however, up four notches from 12th and EMU up six spots from 24th!  RMC at EMU Wednesday and VWC at GC on Saturday - can't wait!  :)
WOW!! 3 ODAC Teams in the top 10 and EMU @ 18!! What a great time it is to be an ODAC basketball fan! Great work guys!

How will inevitable intra-conference blood bath turn out? I'm too lazy to see who has the advantage of playing the other ranked teams only once at home.
Being lazy has its rewards.  :)  Here you go:

GC already has a 3-point loss at VWC, but they have 2 of 3 at home the rest of the way:  VWC (H), RMC (A) and EMU (H).

RMC has VWC (H) and (A), EMU (A) and GC (H), so a wash I guess.

EMU already has a win over VWC away and then RMC (H), VWC (H) and GC (A).

VWC has a total of five games versus the ODAC leaders with two in the books:  a win at home versus GC and a loss at home versus EMU.  After that, they have three away games - one against each of the contenders.

Right now, I'd give a scheduling edge to EMU and say VWC's got the toughest row to hoe.

That was a nice little article about EMU on the NCAA website, but not really sure why that would be caulk board material for RMC? It seems to me the reason why EMU was chosen for that little section of the article was because last week was the first time the Royals cracked the Top 25 and managed to get two good conference wins.

Caulk board? Are we trying to keep a bathtub from leaking?

Only if your argument doesn't hold water, I guess.

There once was a coach with a fight talk
He X'ed and he O'ed with some white chalk
He ranted and shrieked
'Til the lockerroom leaked
But his players all sealed it with tight caulk!

Ah, another gem by Nova!  ;D Things seem to be tightening up right now and it won't be long before we see what our teams are really made of as we enter that time of the season when top teams go head-to-head.

Thanks Pat, for the correction! Actually might need the caulking down here at the beach not in the bath but for my doors and windows. I think it would help with the brain freeze!

EMU UP  90-67     2 MINS LEFT..... unbelievable game by EMU. I dont think this was a good showing for RMC I think they are better team than they showed tonight. But you can't take anything away from EMU it was a convincing showing on their part!

Thanks, jww.  I haven't seen VWC's final outcome tonight, but I can tell you it's close.  Guilford (the team and the college) is preparing for a major game and crowd in Greensboro Saturday afternoon.  Quakers won tonight, so they're 13-1.  Looks as though VWC will be 14-1.  Major, major game on Saturday!

Tigers are down to VWC by 3 points .... and have the ball, with 12 seconds left.  Time out.
