It's on for 7 pm tonight. I haven't posted for two reasons - work's kept me busy and there is a certain nervousness about the game. Guilford hasn't played in a week and, thankfully (I guess), neither has EMU - so the playing field (court) is level for both. If anyone had any injuries or needed more time to prepare, you got it.

The Greensboro weather is cold and very windy. January and February's snows still linger, but the roads are clear - if anything melts during the day, however, it freezes again in late afternoon and makes some roads and bridges treacherous. When I say windy, I mean 35-45 mph. There are trees down and some traffic lights are out.

Now for the game: yes, since it's one and done for the Quakers and the Royals, tonight's game is key! I believe the Quakers will be favored, of course, but I expect it to be a very close game. Trust me, the Guilford coaches, players and fans are taking this game seriously and have the utmost respect for what EMU's accomplished this season.

There were 1800 for the HSC game last week - I hope tonight will be more of the same!

EMU is taking advantage of GC. GC isn't playing great but mostly b/c EMU is putting the handcuffs on these guys on Defense!!!! 83-57 6 mins left

Those EMUs look really good. That is really the way to play D. They remind me a little of VWC, but more athletic and maybe larger.

and im defintely now a believer in EMU when they shoot like they did tonite they are unbeatable, they are having one heck of a season 2 wins against 2 different #1s....Wow

EMU defeats Guilford, 90-63. I'm stunned.
