GATiger,

I am pretty sure I know who you are, so drop me a line some time using my e-mail in my profile.  I try to check it as often as possible!

Enzoneking6:

Bridgewater lost by two to Adrian on a shot with .6 seconds left.

Info on the Bridgewater game... tough loss for the Eagles...nice to see Clay Michael (21 points and 12 rebounds) breakout...even if it is for one game! BC down 15 with 8 1/2 minutes to play and down 8 with 3 minutes to play never gave up had a chance at the end.
BC never led and only had it tied with 9 seconds to play...you just cannot turn it over 20 times and expect to beat many people!
Enough said...a chance to rebound tonight!

Just wondering if anyone was able to listen to R-MC's web broadcast Thursday night.  SportsJuice.com indicated that there were technical problems, however I was able to get on from our athletic office before the game.

Any feedback would be appreciiated.  Thanks!

btw... you pontiffs need to let me know which way you're leaning on the pick'em "tallyin" system...just need to know whether to bring the abacus back out of the closet put it on my horse and buggy and mosey on down to the General Store to see if I can use the one phone in the county to get the standings out to the masses! Sheesh!  ::)

Steely aka. Your Eminence(you've been promoted!) - I'm a big fan of the abacus. I'm sticking with you and Jimmy. Have a Happy New Year. I'm playing golf tomorrow, come rain, snow, sleet or whatever. Our club has been sold to
developers who obviously think it has more value as a development than a golf course(built in 1960 by Ed Ault) and December 31 is its last day. Sad, very sad. I've been playing there with the same guys for 20+ years.

steelyglen

jww..it is indeed a sad day when ANY golf course becomes anything BUT a golf course...Happy New year to everyone....to the RBC Center tonight for State v. George washington ...this should be a terrific basketball game and on the Amtrak tomorrow to Charlotte for State v. South Florida in the Meineke Car Care Bowl with 65,000+ of my closest friends. Hopefully a little golf on Sunday or Monday and cigars for all!!!!

JWW, my condolences on the loss of your golf club.  I'm sure Winchester needs some more town houses.  On the bright side, the exclusive Nottoway River Country Club is accepting out of town members.  I believe the NRCC is also throwing in admission to all regular season Hampden-Sydney games (R-MC game excluded) as part of this special package.

Tigerfan - Sign me up! Maybe I can get my son, Jay, 1995 HSC graduate, to spring for the initiation! Happy New Year. Go Tigers. Best in the ODAC right now.

Does anyone that follows Bridgewater know what happened to Matt Drewer. His name didn't appear in the box score for the Adrian game. Is he injured?

Heartbreaker last night at Marietta.  Even though it looked pretty grim for the Eagles, at one point they were down by 14, they managed to fight back at the end and tie it up with a 3 point feild goal with just 6 seconds to go.  The Eagles never once took the lead, but that shot really got observers' hopes up.  If the Eagles had played the whole game as hard as they did the final 10 minutes of the game, it would've been a much better turnout.  However, they just didn't get into it until then and if they keep not pushing themselves until the last 10 minutes of the game, future outcomes of games aren't gonna be much better.

Clay Michael did play very well with 21 points and 12 rebounds, but the Eagles can't expect to win games with just one player going hard all the time.  The Eagles play Grove City today at 5pm.

Matt Drewer will not be playing for the Eagles the rest of the season.  Drewer has left Bridgewater College.  His absence will really put a dent in the Eagle's season.  Dan Cunningham's presence on the court this season is also currently questionable.  He did not travel to Ohio with the rest of the team.

Ladyeagle - What's going on? The Eagles are disintegrating.
