I know I speak for all the Virginia Wesleyan College Marlins when I say
"Natale hilare et annum faustum."  ;D

Ditto from the Guilford College Quakers.  Who'll win XX or more and be in the Final IV in MMXI?

Sir Nova - rather than surmise who will win 20+ and slide into the finals, why don't you do a little prognosticating in verse for us.  ;)

Dressed as a stoic: a bad guesser.
Pressed for poetic - a sad "Yessir".
Marlins are "reel".  Whatta closer!
Emus? Jackets?  Gotta poser!
Tigers and Quakers?  A tad lesser.  :(

Hasanova - very nice! A little hip hop deal. Very current.  ;D

When asked for my thoughts, I won't duck.
I'm not sure if they're right - often stuck!
My answers aren't spun on a dime.
They're logic, the other half rhyme.
Never easy, but hey, What the Heck!  :)

Thank, jww.  I appreciate it.  A mind is a terrible thing to waste - or was that a "waist is a terrible thing to mind"?  Is it lunch time yet?  :)

Happy New Year Everybody!! Be careful out there. I've got three tee times this weekend so I'm going to be a good boy :D

I strongly dislike the idea of subbing three minutes into a game. I think it is Bu.....it!

HSCDad

HS-C had a great win today at 92-73 over Medaille (Buffalo, NY - now 7-3) in the Holiday Tournament at HSC - 5 players in double figures - 42-23 at half time and then both teams scored 50 in the 2nd half for an exciting game- Harrison George was Tour. MVP wth Patrick Corrigan and Randall Ward (4-5 from 3 point range) making the All-Tour team  - now 7 and 3 with season really getting underway

Don Ho-RMC has a  35-9 record with this formula thus far. Seems to be working.

HSC dad- yall have long way to go.

In other news yesterday:

Randolph beats Greensboro by 3
Randolph Macon beats Hood by 10

From listening to the R-MC v Hood game last night I got the impression that Hood was willing to foul as much as possible (29 fouls for the game with three players fouling out) to prevent the Jackets from scoring field goals in exchange for free throws, some of which they knew would be missed. Then on the offensive end they milked the shot clock on most possessions to shorten the game and keep the score low. If that was the strategy, it certtainly worked to keep the score low, though not to win the game.
