Hasa - Do my my Generals have a chance against your boys on Saturday?
Hey, baselinejam.  Sorry for my delayed response - I'm in South Korea - I had to miss the video broadcast of the EMU game and going to the Randolph game live.  Yeah, your Gennies always have a chance - some memorable upsets come to mind - but with that said it looks on paper (records, comparative scores, rosters, etc.) as though the Quakers should prevail by something in the 10-point range.  Palombo seems to have settled on about an 8 to 9 man rotation right now and they have "clicked" with 9 wins in a row.  One of the items on my "bucket list" is to go to a Guilford away game at all the ODAC schools - I've been to W&L for football, but never basketball.  It's a long way from Seoul to Lexington, VA, so I think it'll be another season!

^^ 56 points for H-SC in the first half, 59 for EMU in the second half. More like an NBA game.

yj424

but at least the nba does play some defense

Thynx- it was a nice win for The Generals. I hope that they keep it up. Enjoy the kimchi in ROK. When you make to Lex Vegas I hope you see a great game.

Tigers finally get the win at Randolph, finishing with a 79-63 win!   Kobie Williamson posted a team-high 22 points and a game-best 12 rebounds. Harrison George posted his second double-double in the last three games, scoring 20 points while collecting 10 boards, with three assists and two blocks. Freshman Mike Murray contributed 15 points, with four rebounds and three steals.  Hampden-Sydney dominated the glass, holding a 43-23 advantage.  Colton Hunt outscored the rest of his team, with 33 of the Wildcats' 63 points.  Great win tonight!

Michael Herbert

Great win for the Tigers tonight.  After the four years (I think it's 4) of playing Randolph and not pulling out the W at their place, the Tigers finally got it tonight 79-63.  Both teams played hard but Khobi Williamson and Harrison George were the difference makers for the Tigers with both of them getting double-doubles.  Colton Hunt had a game-high 33 points with some love from the men in stripes.  There's no reason for anyone to have 16 shots from the line.  It just seems strange that he had 16 opportunities :o with the rest of the team had 7 :o.
