On the contrary, I remembered you said "IF".  I also remember you said LC just didn't show up.  Never gave the Eagles credit for taking the Hornets out of their game or playing well.  It was simply the Hornets didn't show up.  If you can't give BC credit for doing something right, it appears to me that you really didn't think the Eagles had a chance.  No "IF'S, AND'S, or BUT'S" about it.

talk about a letdown for macon. after manhandling the tigers on the tigers home court, macon goes and gets (apparently) handled easily by vwc on their own home court. VWC is a good team, but I certainly wasnt expecting macon to lose at home to them. Looks like Wansley either played bad, or VWC hounded him on defense, either way 6 points on 2/7 shooting wont help his all-american or odac POY status.

I wasn't there, Scottie, but according to the RT-D, R-M turned the ball over 18 times.  Very hard to win when that happens.  Hopefully we can learn from this game and improve.  We've already done it once this year against Lincoln.

But you're right, 6 points from Wans is disappointing.  I expected us to lose to the Fish at least once this year, but down in VA Beach, not Crenshaw.  We hafta to shake it off and move on.

No offense to BC, but if we play the way we have the past 2 games and correct some mistakes,  BC doesn't stand a chance on our home court.

Week 7 results out Monday but going into today's games we have 3-way tie at the top. I couldn't find streams for that game or the LC/RC one.  I'd be surprised if RC didn't call the game, but they just haven't posted a link yet.

Anybody have info on the Roanoke web site vis a vis the internet broadcast of today's game? I click on the old standard D3Hoops site, click on Roanoke but the basketball page that comes up says nothing about "listen". Help!

On another note, > (or the poster formerly known as STH), how do you do it?  Minus 63!  Are you kidding me?  I say we get a pool to see where you are by the end of the DIII Final Four.   I'm not sure if it's ever been done, but I think you've got a legitimate shot at an even minus 100!  I even gave you a karma point about two weeks ago when you said something halfway nice, noncombustible and with a thread of logic, but you fought back and made it up and more.  Wow!

Guilford up over BC 34-27 at the half.  It was back and forth with BC taking a 21-20 lead, but GC had a run and was up by 10, 34-24, until BC canned a 3 with 6 seconds to go.  Some foul trouble for BC prompted Leatherman to sit a few to save them for the second half.
