What an environment at RMC!!  Watching on TV was quite cool.  The student section looked quite impressive on TV!  Very professional production, thanks to HRSN and to our own Marty!  Great job!

The Jackets need to take care of business against E&H Saturday, then the voters should do as you suggest. Hope there's no letdown after what had to be an emotional win tonight. You can't take any game for granted.

Probably. Where should we rank Frostburg State? :)

Who in their right mind would rank a team that lost to Frostburg in the Top 10? Just calm down and turn off your caps lock. VWC wasn't the only team you played, you know.

^^ Pat makes a good point. When you compare schedules the two teams each had a one point game against CNU with the Jackets losing and the Marlins winning. Then, other than the games against each other, both of which the Jackets won, VWC lost on the road to an 11-3 ranked Emory team (two of whose losses are to other ranked teams) while R-MC lost at home to 8-8 Frostburg State.  I agree that the Jackets should get a slight voting nod over VWC, especially based on head-to-head results, but there's more to it than that.

Maybe..... But even with losing to Frostburg and CNU EARLY we should be ranked ahead of VWC based on the way we've been playing lately. I still think VWC gets votes based on their HISTORY and having won a National Championship. You can defend your pollsters all you want Pat, but they've CLEARLY gotten this one wrong. Rankings really don't mean anything until the end of the season, but just because we dropped a couple early, and one to an unranked team(both in November)doesent hold water right now . My statement stands- don't think they can rank us behind the Fish now...

^^ I know most of what you said above isn't directed at me, but I'm pretty sure the Jackets get votes based on their history, too. And I did say "I agree that the Jackets should get a slight voting nod over VWC".

Great video feed. Great game. Great win for the Jackets. So glad Jordan Snipes didn't rebound the missed free throw. :)
Sounds like a great game between RMC and VWC.  Thankfully, the Quakers didn't need Snipes last night as McCarthy 20, Rice 19 and Hyatt 15 led the way 74-54 over Randolph (10-6, 4-3) in the tiny RC gym.  The Wildcats had 16 FT attempts to only 3 for the Quakers, but GC (12-4, 5-2) was much better on 3-point shooting.  Guilford's had trouble at Randolph before, so quite a relief.  Desgain with 18 for the Wildcats.  W&L visits Ragan-Brown at 3 pm this Saturday.

Or because their 3 losses this were to teams ranked in the top 15.. doubt them being in the top 25 is a result of something that happened almost 10 years ago lol

Why are you shouting? Yes, NOW you should clearly be ranked ahead but before last night, it was NOT clear. In the next poll, IF Randolph-Macon continues to take care of business, I am sure Macon will be ahead of VWC?
