Tickets are going to financial backers of the program/school. Maybe HSC can return the favor next year !!!
I haven't seen a sold out crowd in Crenshaw in awhile, so no n eed to limit attendance. HSC does not charge for athletic events so entry into the game is first come first served.

Hasa, whats going on with your Quakers ? Had a commanding lead for the #3 seed and now they are fighting it out to avoid having to play a first round game. Pick it up !!! HSC has a tough close to the season going to RMC to VWC to Roanoke and SU at home. About the best they can hope for is two more victories which should make them about a 5th seed which would not be so bad given their season to date.
I don't know ... should have won the SU game, but couldn't hit a shot the last few minutes ... had a 7-point lead in 2nd half when I started watching.   Hope we can break this late season swoon tonight against the Maroons!

You're correct on the playoff game, however, I was able to get 30 tickets for Coach Nunnally, even gave him a ride to the game but refused to sit next to him, or he refused to allow me to sit next to him, can't remember all of those details!!!

I'd be surprised if the Tigers pull the upset, however, I'm hoping they are at least competitive this time.
I remember it well!! Couldn't get ANY tix-even got Vee, Dale, and Westbrook to try for me(don't think they tried real hard, but they did!...;-).....and I STILL couldn't get one....as I remember y'all beat us by a few and ended up in the finals and lost......But as for the game tonite- it's a CLASSIC trap game for us!! Tigers have played well the last few games and we have struggled as of late.....have just squeezed out a win the last few games....LOTS of distractions!! TV game, late start, we climbed to #4...and #1 in the regional rankings released today...Hope I'm wrong but I can smell this.....If the Tigers are close in the 2nd half anything can happen.... ??? ???

How can this game be a "trap" game ? Playing against your rivals, on your home court in front of a sell out crowd. Does not sound like a trap to me. I'm just hoping the game is competitive.  Is it really on TV ? I hear you need a computer to watch the game. The game is being carried by WTVR which is channel 6, but the game is on channel 6.3. So if you turn your TV on to watch the game, it will not be there. Again, good luck and I suspect your Jackets will win going away, of course, I hope not.

I'm pretty sure the W&L game was the trap game. The inferior opponent before the big tv game against the long-standing rival. RMC squeaked that one out, they should be more motivated for this one.

In Richmond, try Comcast channel 206 or channel 466 on Verizon.

Go Tigers!!!

It's worth noting that Greg Lewis, with 158 points in his first year, 249 points in his sophomore year, and 300 in his junior year, has already scored 219 points this year (10.4PPG) and has 926 career points .... so Greg needs just another 74 points to finish with 1,000 career points.  With another 5 to 10 games yet this season, Greg's got a good shot of finishing with 1,000+.

I'll be listening to Cannon Watson doing the play-by-play for the WFLO broadcast this evening!

Okay, well financial backers, then.  If HSC gave the allotment to financial backers and not parents, don't blame RMC, that's HSC's decision.  As to selling out Crenshaw, I believe this is maybe the third time this season.  Attendance is up in Crenshaw, with the team doing well and the student support is up, plus about 1400 students at RMC nowadays.  Looks like the attendance in Fleet is down this year, with only 1100 for the RMC game, and about 400 for most other games (only 300 lately against GC and EHC).   Fleet for years has been one of the best attended venues, but not this year.
Attendance has plummeted since the norovirus outbreak. Not just the students, but fewer faculty, staff, and alumni as well. People apparently don't want to go convene in Fleet with hundreds of others in close confines. There was also some pretty bad weather for the Macon game, so that cut into the attendance for that game.

Quakers rebounded with a convincing 103-78 win over the Maroons last night.  Three GC players with 15 and Will Freeman with 21 in 14 minutes off the bench (8/11 on FG and 5/5 FT ... very efficient).

Jackets win ODAC regular season crown with a win raining 3's on the Tiger and a loss by the Fish VS EMU!! Jackets looked much better last night,!! Number one seed in the Tourney!!
