Can anyone tell me HSC record vs. RMC in the last 10 years ? It feels like RMC wins about 95% of the games but I am wrong.

Jackets win ODAC regular season crown with a win raining 3's on the Tiger and a loss by the Fish VS EMU!! Jackets looked much better last night,!! Number one seed in the Tourney!!

Number one seed in the tourney is nice, but there are any number teams capable of winning it. Last night also set a program record 17 consecutive wins. Would be great to extend that to 20 before the tournament -- and then keep going.

Congratulations!  Nicely done.

As mentioned, EMU knocked off #5 Virginia Wesleyan.  Held them to 33% from the field and hit free throws! Looks like a good game all around.  I notice Frosh Jerome Jones is not getting as many minutes as earlier in the season.  Not getting to the games, not sure why, but if the wins keep coming, that is OK http://www.emuroyals.com/sports/mbkb/2014-15/releases/20150211cgfjtu

I think the Tiger's future is bright.  The Jackets will graduate 8 seniors and the Tigers have several young players that I'd love to see in the lemon and black.  The Tigers looked much better last night than last month, so I see more balance in the rivalry going forward.

I hope your prediction is accurate and that I live long enough to see current trends reversed.

I'm confused by Emory's in-region and overall records being the same. Since they compete in the UAA all their conference games are against teams in other regions. So this must mean that all the UAA conference games played by all UAA teams count as in-region games regardless of what region the NCAA has placed those teams in. Is that correct?

If any of the other South region ranked teams played a game against a UAA team other than Emory it would not count as an in-region game for them, unless it met the distance criteria. Is that also correct?

In-Region is now a catch-all for all of your Division III games as long as you play 70% of your games in your region.

Also, all conference games count as in-region games... the UAA is the only conference that has games outside of a specific region (fixed in the last few years in other conferences).

So... every game Emory has played that has been against a Division III opponent is considered an "in-region" game since they play 70% or more of their games in region by definition (conference, South Region, Administrative Region 3, and within 200 miles).

I should point out that RMC's record shows all of their games include opponents like WPI who are outside of the regional definition, but since they play more than 70% of their games in-region... they all count.

I think I get it. Thanks. I guess it's pretty hard to play a game against a D3 opponent anymore that doesn't account as in-region.

Dave 'd-mac' McHugh

Well it is an interesting distinction, but there isn't a better title to use... but if a team doesn't play 70% of their games in-region by definition (200 miles, conference, actual region, administrative region), then the only games that count in that "Region Record" will be games actually in the region by definition. The rest go to their overall record. If you a team goes past that 70% or gets a waiver (which barely happens anymore), then all games that are Division III go there and any non-Division III go to the overall record.

Congrats to all 3 ODAC teams in the South regional rankings.

Good luck to all for today.  For the Jackets, Randolph at Randolph can be a very dangerous game.

GO JACKETS!!!
