Just left Crenshaw, easy to see how they have six loses already this year. But glad for this W!

Outstanding win today for VWC!  The Marlins trailed by as many as 15 points early, but came back strong down the stretch to knock off perennial regional power Emory, 71-68 in OT at the beach. VWC found the leader is has been looking for in senior Nick Doyle who scored a game-high 19 points, including the last five in OT, to pace the Marlins to the win.  Aaron Sturdifen also came through big with five OT points!  It was encouraging to see the comeback effort in a team that has been struggling to get things going consistently.  Hopefully this win will be the springboard to a strong showing in the 2016 portion of the schedule!  Keep it going VWC!
Have any idea why Khory Moore didn't play the last 5:24 of regulation or any at all in overtime?

You got that right...

I looked back over the board, but there didn't appear to be any answers. Why have so many players left the RMC Program? In particular, I really liked Rip (short guard I think)...Disappointing not see him out there on the floor today...

Mr. Ypsi

Hasanova, some history I just ran across that you may or may not already know.  Guilford College is presumably directly named for Guilford County, but Guilford County is named for the first Earl of Guilford.  The first Earl of Guilford was the father of Lord North, the PM during the American Revolution, and the step-father of Lord Dartmouth (founder of the missionary school which became Dartmouth College), the Colonial Secretary who gave the order for British troops to attack Lexington and Concord.  So ... you are anti-American, but also the 'daddy' of Ivy League Dartmouth! :o ;D

Thanks, Mr. Ypsi.  I knew the connection to England and the Earl of Guilford, but did not know all ties to Dartmouth.  Quakers are surprising complex.  lol

I've seen 9 of 11 Guilford games this season ... easy to see why the Quakers have 5 losses.  I think most of our games this year will be close ... need to cut down on turnovers and hit more free throws!  Playing as many as three first years at times, so they will hopefully mature quickly.

is the RMC vs. HSC game of any interest or is it just another odac game ?
Not following b'ball so I don't know much about either team or have a clue as to how the game should play out.
My bet is the home team will win.

Tigerfan, RMC is  in a down year. HSC  should be  a double digit winner.

With that said...anything can happen in a rivalry game. See VT against UVA as an example!

Double digits could be 10 or could be 99.

Just got 2 words for this one:  GO JACKETS!

Not sure H-SC is all that much better off than R-MC. From the game against W&L I wasn't real impressed with the Tigers but that is the only time I've watched them play this year.

Swish3

Totally agree, jknezek...this game will be competitive, and I wouldn't be surprised if R-MC won.

So neither team is superior to the other it sounds like. Go Tigers/Beat Macon !!!!
