^^^ I saw the final 6 or so minutes and the OT on my phone. Gotta say I was riveted to the screen. Every time late in regulation and OT that I thought the Jackets were in a position to hang on and force LC to foul, the Hornets made a play and tied it or took the lead. That rebounding difference is surprising -- and tough to overcome. Kudos to both teams on a great game. Hope Talbert is ready to go again soon.

I believe when down by 4 with 37 seconds to go, you force overtime and go on to win, that is quite deserving!
Lynchburg is Damn good!

Excellent point. Couldn't agree more.

No doubt a GREAT comeback and I'm certainly not taking anything away from our guys!!  Just not our best effort, especially on the boards...LC IS Damn good, but look at the stats... two guys scored over 60% of their points... we should stop that... the reason we win is we have SIX guys in double figures.... our strength is in our diversity across the board... if one guy is off another usually picks it up....PLUS our defense and our strength on the boards pulls us through.... that's the winning formula.... we struggle most when we don't rebound and give up points on the drive.... that's what happened today...fortunately our diversity and our guts pulled us through.... and being in Crenshaw never hurts!🐝🐝🐝... GO JACKETS!!🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝

In other ODAC news yesterday:

Roanoke gets a hard fought win over a good HSC team 84-76.  It was close the entire game yesterday, but RC went on a run in the last 2 minutes.  Roanoke wins the award for most inconsistent ODAC team after losing to Emory and Henry on Wednesday.  The coach at HSC is doing a great job as HSC is still ahead of RC in the ODAC standings.

Emory and Henry loses at Bridgewater in a high scoring game 109-90

Randolph loses big at Virginia Wesleyan 53-72

EMU gets destroyed at Guilford 50-95

Ferrum beats Shenandoah in a close one at home 85-79

Terriffic interview. He sounds like such a good guy to play for.

RMC's SOS is a .508... not very high in the grand scheme of things. Considering the conference is probably pulling in a strong SOS number, that means RMC's non-conf SOS probably isn't good (need to look at it).

Emory is a .568 ... that is wiping out any WL% advantage RMC has.

So two upsets tonight as E&H beats Roanoke and Ferrum secures a season sweep of Guilford. Guilford has to be the most disappointing team in the league this year after winning the ODAC Tournament last year. 6-6 with four games left and three could very easily be losses.
Quakers improved to 16-7, 8-6 ... passed the Lynchburg test on the road 75-60 ... and without Kyler Gregory.

First Regional Rankings are out: https://www.d3hoops.com/notables/2020/02/men-regional-rankings-first
They ranked Freakin EMORY ahead of us???? REALLY????

This doesn't surprise me. I saw Emory play at Wash U two weekends ago. They are very good. I haven't seen R-MC live and I know there is a huge difference in perception between seeing a team live vs online. So R-MC would likely come across better if I could see them play live , but I would say this is a valid ranking.

This Guilford team makes less than zero sense. They couldn't compete with W&L, looked like a JV team against Macon, and got swept by Ferrum (though Ferrum is a decent team, not intended to be a knock on them), but can compete with VWU, beat Emory, and manhandles Lynchburg and didn't even need their best player in that game
