Quote from: hasanova on February 19, 2006, 11:00:19 AMI've been to a lot of basketball games in my life, but the Powdered Whigs were last seen whipping some Tory butt in the mid-19th century.   Probably part of a double-header with Texas versus Mexico in the Alamodome.  :)
I'm sure Jimmy got pics of this mid 19th century double-dip...but I'm guessing B&W! ;D
Yeah Jimmy, when's the next lithography class?

Scottie...

You, saying a poster puts up BS?  You might as well call the kettle black.  LC will have a winning season... LC will make the ODAC Tournament... we played a team for money, not to win... LC should start preparing for next season, and after one win, LC has not given up on this season... making a case for Matt Sweeney to make an All-ODAC Team... saying Korey Townsend made an All-ODAC team because of where his team finished... saying Josh LaPorte should not, after saying he was one of the most complete players in the ODAC earlier in the year.  Any of this sound familiar to you.

Also, in my original post comparing stats, I mentioned that Strong averaged more points and rebounds.  And I did say that one more point and one more rebound was not significant.  If you think it is, so be it.  I have said Strong is the one that actually MADE first team.  I have given congratulatory remarks and said he will certainly get better and continue to earn individual honors.

Sometimes, you make responses so easy, it almost isn't worth it.

This post gets my "Post of the Year" award!!!  I can still hear my self laughing and saying "Oh my God," as I read through it.  Great refresher to a Sunday morning.   HA HA HA.

Congrats to Wansley as he has had a tremendous career.  Taking nothing away from him, but using his numbers lets you see how good Brandon Adair is.  He currently has 1,382 points for his career with at minimum of two more games this year and a whole season.   :o

Molly says thanks for all of the compliments...However, she is mad at the PACK of N.C. State for beating her Hokies!!!!  However, it was a relatively good game...Close towards the end, but the PACK sealed the deal making 9 of 10 free throws over the last minute in order to pull out the 4 point victory.  Another disappointing close loss for the Hokies...What Leatherman said about the BC season could also be applied to the HOKIES.  It is amazing how much one shot (Duke Game) can change the season for a team.

Look forward to the games today...Should be fun.  However, I will be by myself, which will be disappointing.  The signficant other has other obligations today.  Go Jackets.

I had  no idea they did that!  Thanks for pointing it out to me.  Of course, I can't give you as much credit for doing the work.   :)

JSF02,
Comparing Adair and Wansley's Career points is not fair.  I'm a Sydney fan, but I have to point this out.  Wansley did not play or score as much as Adair in his freshmen year because they did not need him to because of Mills.  In contrast, Adair was one of the Marlins go-to-guys in his first year.  Adair is a great player and deserves all recognition that he receives, but please be careful with comparisons of two players.

now...now...it was a 6 point win  ::). I, too, was about to be PO'd at my Pack for allowing the Hokies to get back into it. For 21 minutes we played like we're supposed to...a 22 point lead almost completely melted. This team found out yesterday how valuable Ilian Evtimov is night in and night out...have felt bad for Seth Greenberg (well except for yesterday) and his 2-7 (well 2-8 now) record in close games. It would have been interesting to see how the Hokies season might have fared if Sean Dockery's "prayer"had not been answered. I believe we can all ban together and become Wolfpack fans for a night as Satan himself comes into the RBCD Wednesday Night disguised as the Tar Holes!

Sure it is fair and I was careful.  No where did I doubt or take anything from Wansley, NO WHERE.  I just simply said, that it shows you how special Adair is.  Flat out.  Doino was the go to guy Adairs freshman year.  Once they started double teaming Doino, Adair stepped up.  The kid is special, that was the whole point of my post.  Can anyone state something on here and people agree or is someone always trying to make an argument out of a simple post?

Im loving this live audio/video from the ODAC Tourny. This is an outstanding thing they have going. My question is, who is doing play-by-play/color? Anyone know??

Go Quakes!

This live video streaming is the best thing the ODAC has ever done.  Kudo's to all who is involved.

Looks like the Quackers came to play today and the Marlins look very sluggish.  Each time I watch Strong play, I become more impressed.  His moves are improving down low....
