I've been polite and moved picks posts from this board to the pick-em board in previous weeks but no longer. Any made after this point will be summarily deleted from this board.

This place has become super bitter about Pick 'ems....man.  No one's computer has a scroll bar.  How hard is it to scroll past the pick 'ems?  LOL....

Well, I felt as the moderator I was fairly clear in my instructions. I don't know why the ODAC has to be different than all of the other conference boards in this regard.

I support Pat's ODAC Pick 'Em agenda. That's all I have to say.

RMC not the ball club I thought they would be. A big drop off from last year. Don't know if they have injuries but from what I saw yesterday, RMC is really down as compared to RMC teams of recent years.

Having said that, if RMC made their foul shots yesterday they would have won the game. It truly was a fun game to watch. I enjoyed the improvements made to Crenshaw. Coach Rhoads will right the ship, I'm sure. I just hope he waits until Sunday to do it !!!!

Yeah, I agree with TFA's opinion here, but as a Randolph-Macon fan, I have little to complain about.  R-M basketball has been a lot of fun for me over the past few years, and everyone's entitled to a down year.  It happens! 8)

However, I'm hoping this is a slump. . . . . .

There have been some earlier unreported signs of STH lurking around, but for the most part I think he's in "Stealth Mode."  :)

Just got back from a great weekend at VWC.  I saw both the E&H and Guliford games against the Marlins.   E&H can be a very dangerous team and turn around a game quickly but the Marlins were just too well prepared for them.  Unfortunately I still don't believe in the "system".  It's fun and exciting to watch but until you through in some good defense, over the long run, it won't win championships.  E&H was outrebounded 60-31 and the Marlins shot an incredible 69%, but it was defense and rebounding that won the game.  An easy lay-up beats taking 3 pointers and outside shots any day.   E&H has some very talented players but they were no match for the Marlins on this day.   The same for Guilford. It was basically over at the half..Two talented teams but again the Marlins were dominant. Home court advantage certainly was a factor but the Marlins played tough and had only ONE turnover in the first half.  Guilford never made a run that could have made the game closer or threatened the Marlins.  They handled Ben Strong well and didn't give him much of a chance to turn the game around.  Just wasn't Guilford's day.   They might have more success next time they play in Guilford.  Congrats go to the Marlins for a very successful weekend.

Cause we are better than all the other conferences. Why bore ourselves with their picks? Come on Pat lighten up!  ;D

Speaking of better than everyone else How bout those Marlins, man you talk about everyone else playing for second place. But hey 2nd place to the National Champions isn't all that bad.

I agree Mat Strong is the real deal but BA (the defending National player of the year) sure showed why he is what he is.

The rims adjust automatically it was part of Coach Macedo's contract. They are controlled at the scores table and can be adjusted at any time.

I bet he is - just messing with you.  lol  Guilford has a Mat, but I'm guessing he won't see as many minutes as Ben this season.  :)

Look, VWC has a very fine team and they are certainly the odds on favorite to win the ODAC.  No one is disputing that point.  Personally, I was quite disappointed with Guilford's poor performance on Sunday.  Perhaps the Marlins are that good, but don't be fooled into thinking the Quakers are that bad.  They aren't.  It was, as they say, one of those days.  We'll be back ....
