You know I've got to root for Guilford to win it all just to say that Lincoln lost again to the NCAA Champions.

Wooooooo Hooooooooo........! One down for the ODAC and 1 to go. Congrats to Guilford.

I guess you will have to take back that "Guilford may have wasted a good season" Hasa! Your boys are on fire post the new life after the ODAC Tourney happened.

Too bad that if VWU wins they have to play again in the Elite 8 instead of the Final 4! :-\
Yeah, you're right.  Thank God.  For what it's worth, about 15 minutes after I posted it, I went back and said "they might have wasted .."  Whew!  My heart can't take much more.  lol  Go Quakers!  Now, go Marlins!

I understand your logic!  Whatever you want to do, man, we'll take all the support we can get!  :)  What a game!

The Lincoln/Guilford game is now officially an ESPN Instant Classic.

Well, it ought to be!

Marlins will win tonight, given that they have a 22-point lead with about 4 minutes to play .....

Two ODAC teams in the Elite Eight!!  It's a shame that they're not in separate brackets, because it would be great if both teams had a chance to go to Salem.

ODAC in the FINAL FOUR:

1999 - Hampden-Sydney
2003 - Hampden-Sydney
2006 - Virginia Wesleyan
2007 - Virginia Wesleyan or Guilford

  .....  4 times in 9 years.

great win for the quackers quakers tonight...i can't say the monarchs advanced deeper than any other d3 team in NC (elite 8 in 1997) anymore...that's one special season, and mr strong had one special night - good luck against vwc...they sure are looking dominant right now...should be one heck of a rubber match

Llamaguy

Looks like the coaches will not have to burn the midnight oil for a scouting report for this matchup.

Hasa,
It is always hard to beat a team the 3rd time in a season; however, the rubber match usually doesn't happen on one team's home floor. Looks like an even split. Should be a great game and a great night for the ODAC. ;)

Congrats to VWC on advancing to the elite 8 to take on Guilford.  I hear the Marlins fans in the background chanting the Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Goodbye to the Choctaws.

Congrats to the ODAC in getting one team back to the Final Four.

just thought i'd post a few random thoughts, since i'm sure the fish fans are too classy to do so :)

Miss. College is going to give the fish way more than they can handle.

Ruffled some feathers, didn't I? Blah, blah, blah. You'll see this weekend.

Yada, yada, yada... I can take the heat. And you will be feeling the heat from me when VWC loses in a few days.

The fish put together a great run to close out the season LAST YEAR, but they have lost 4 games this year, twice that of Miss. College. And may I remind you that MC just DESTROYED Maryville, a very good team. If not for geographic considerations, this game would be played well to the south, in the state of Mississippi. The fish will lose.

81-55...not even close...and i don't think home court makes a 26 point difference for vwc

What a night for the ODAC!!! And to think, the two teams playing to go back to Salem didn't even win there a few weeks ago.  ;D GO ODAC!!!  8)

Thanks, narch.  As a sign of respect for this one night, I see you used quakers instead of "quackers".  lol  Nice.  I think the BC loss has really motivated this team.  It'll be tough playing on VWC's floor tomorrow night, but at least we're there!  Thanks again.  Sorry Marlins, I got you this far, but go Quakers for tomorrow night!

The ODAC is guaranteed an 8-2 record and a Final Four team with the only two losses to each other.  That's the best they could do!  Great!

Yeah, Llama, they know each other for sure.  I hope that old adage holds true!  I'll be listening!  Congratulations to VWC for their impressive win!  Quakers - what can I say?  Give a guy a heart attack, will you?  lol  Should be a good game tomorrow.  They both want it badly.  Wow!

Two great games tonight, but for very different reasons.  I'm still in awe of the first game; I've never seen anything quite like it.  The later game showed why the Marlins have a ring; wow they're a tough out.  Airborne, ask your team how good the boys from Va. Beach are; I'm sure they'll show more respect than you have.  Congrats to Ben Strong on one of the greatest performances I've ever witnessed.  Wow.. wow.
