Thanks for getting the LC figure, STH.  Sorry I missed it.  Must've been that extra number in W&L's figure.  I knew they were well off, I just didn't think they were THAT well off.

STH,

All minorities are eligible for the money.

Trust me, with only $16m of endowment,  EMU is working with very little and are NOT violating any NCAA rules.

Don't start things STH.

FYI Guilford trails DI Elon 45-38 at the half on the road.  Not too bad ...

Quakers fall 87-63.  Too many offensive rebounds for the Phoenix.  Oh well, bring on the Generals ... :)

Pat has finally created some space in the inbox to allow posting of my photos.  Thanks, Pat.

This photo shows how jittery the Macon bench was during the first half of the Roanoke game.   :)

Yes, there was a coach Leatherman sighting at the Roanoke game on Sunday.  Note Page Moir schmoozing with the opposing scouts.  I've always liked the way most of the ODAC coaches respect and genuinely like one another.

However, there is some bad news for Warren Thompson in this photo.  Please note that the "couch of honor" has been hoisted by some stealth West Virginia fans.  It was probably sacrificed on some Mountaineer victory bonfire earlier in the season.  The soft couch has been replaced by hard wooden steps.  I know hard because I sat on them taking pictures.  I don't want to speculate on what, if anything,  this replacement is supposed to symbolize, but there you have it.  So, Warren, do you still want me to reserve a spot for you on the "steps of honor" during you visit to watch Lebanon Valley participate in the tourney at the start of the new year?  I'm sure there are still vacancies.   :)

Does a seat on the steps come with free admission? Advise.

Any new news on B. Adair?

It seems like everyone has shifted their vote from VWC to EMU for Wednesday's match-up.   I think that is a fair assumption.  However, I worry that VWC is going to come out with the mindset that we are going to play for Adair and EMU comes out flat.

I hope this isn't the case, but I always worry about different situtations.

Or how jittery the photographer was when taking the picture.

Brandon Adair will probably not play Wednesday night but I caution you because VWC's bench is deep. Coach Macedo will switch things up and probably put Sumpter and Tucker plus the floor general, Fitch, on the floor at the same time. Couple that with Balenga, Paschal or Young, and you've got a team that can beat you with unbelievable quickness to the basket. I hope EMU is in really good shape to play speedy transition basketball. See you there. Can't wait.

Leatherman looks pretty stoked that you are taking his picture.

PA Royals - regarding your comment aboout grandfathered scholarships in D-3. The schools that are basically D-3 only offer athletic scholarships in sports that they compete as D-1. The NCAA nearly took this exception away last year. The howl went up at Hopkins ( 2005 NCAA D-1 Lax Champs). So the exceptions stay in place. Future teams will be all sports at one level you move up or down - an entire athletic program will be D-3 etc.

Someone thought W&L has some grandfathered football scholarships - they don't.

My 12/7 picks: W&L, EMU, HSC, Bridgewater

I'm ready for big games tomorrow night from Halkitis, Al White, Mumper, Bienemann, Femi, and the rest of the Generals.   Halkitis is the story though as he drops 25, has 8 assists, and 0 turnovers in the Generals win.

ladyeagle,
That's about as good a smile as coach Leatherman generally musters for a photography.  If you want "stoked", see my picture of Jack Whitcomb, the volunteer assistant for Randolph-Macon.

That's exactly the style that EMU plays.
