It's a final, RMC 71, BC 38.  Wow, I would've picked the Jackets to win, but not by that margin!

GC 82, EMU 71
VWC 79, Randolph 64
W&L 58, LC 55
HSC 67, Roanoke 63
E&H DNP
WOW!! Jackets sting B'Water 71-38-Coach Rhoades might've showed our postings to his team tonite!!VWC Sat in Crenshaw.......things are looking up going into the weekend.....GO JACKETS!!

Speaking of POY candidates, Clay Henson had a great game on the road tonight against a contender.  He was 10/14 from the field and 5/8 from three-point range for 25 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and a block in the win.  Nice game by both teams tonight as they only had 11 turnovers each.

Wow, that's a huge performance for Henson in an important tough win after a long bus ride.  He's got my vote for POY.

This EMU loss means Eastern Mennonite cannot win the ODAC ... even if both teams finish 11-5, GC has the tie-breaker.

The fact that Hasanova even wrote that sentence indicates what a fine showing EMU is having this season.
How right you are!  I don't mind telling you, I was worried about this game ... it had UPSET written all over it!

Maybe so, as it seems that the 'D' showed up tonight, B'water was 1-16 on 3's.  Maybe we should call out the team every game night.  Good job, fellas.

Just looked @ the box score Jackets go 27-40 from the line but w/out Billy(CLANG!!) Campion's 2-8 we were a respectable  25-32. I LOVE Campion's play inside but he KILLS you @ the line!! Looks like the "D" did show tonite 78rmc...maybe we SHOULD call 'em out more.....but we gotta be consisitent!!!....and hit free throws @ the end-ALL of 'em.....and we'll win close games, plain and simple- the Quakers do it with consistency, we need to start matching that.....

I can't get the Bridgewater audio feed from their website and d3hoops hasn't posted the score....anybody know what's going on?its gotta be halftime by now.....

It was 23-22 RMC at the half. Macon out scored BC by 32 in the 2nd half.

It may have already been posted but Oblitey is no longer listed on the Bridgewater roster. I will not speculate as to why.

Yeah, I was just looking at the boxscore ... as you say, the Eagles only trailed by one at the half and then got scorched, 48-16, in the second.  That's crazy.

Hey, Jeremybozz.  I haven't seen it before now ... that's certainly an interesting development for the Eagles.  Oblitey's absence would definitely seem to hamper the Eagles chances of finishing strong and making an impact in the ODAC tournament.

No question. Not having Oblitey is not good for BC. He scored his 1,000 th point vs Va. Wesleyan several games ago. I wish him all of the best.
Not using his absence as an excuse. Macon would have obliterated us (pun intended) anyway.

"Oblite"y's absence isn't good, but "oblite"rated is.  :)  +1

Once again Justin Short leads the Jackets to a big conference win.  He had 22 pts (including 6-9 for 2's, 50% on 3's and 9-11 FT's, 8 (!!!) rebounds and 2 assists).  His commitment to leadership on this team is unrivaled in our opinion.  (He also committed 4 TOs but still ran up those stats for the night!)

And, SOMEbody was playing some good defense to hold the talented Eagles to 38 pts at home.  D. Trawick only had 6 pts on the night including a basket at the buzzer.

LOTS of excitement around the ODAC last night - congrats to all the winners and GO JACKETS!!!!

Very impressive win.  I cannot recall a margin of victory for us like that one; obviously playing a little defense is a good thing. ;)

Not done callin' out the team, though. ;D
