DR - what makes this year so exciting are the sleepers. No one knows at this point who is capable of what! Will W&L charge to the finish, will VWC win out its games, will RMC and Guilford finish strong. And what about Roanoke? Coach Moir is a crafty old devil who has been around a long time. Look at the coaching in the ODAC today. Strong coaches make for good programs.

Hasa - you need to hang out a shingle and consult. Big bucks for consultants. Thats's outsourcing and a corp doesn't have to pay you benefits. Hang in there. Something will come your way.

RMC1982 - I'm all in favor of deep discounts! I'm sure all these venerable posters would flock to your store if you posted a d3hoops.com discount.

The only broadcast of RMC at GC of which I'm currently aware is Guilford's free www.stretchinternet.com audio feed. It usually starts a half hour or so before the game and although they're "homers", the guys do a nice and balanced job of reporting. If I hear of a video broadcast, I'll let you know!

Yeah, it's the perfect storm ... no one's hiring, no one's buying, more people are being laid off (which adds to the pool of people looking for a job), the housing market's down and all our 401k's are dwindling. Basketball gives us some fun in the midst of it all ... I hope your business starts to pick up soon!

This morning, a quick check of www.stretchinternet.com shows they're providing both a video and audio feed for two Guilford games this week: versus Roanoke tonight and versus RMC on Saturday afternoon. I'm not sure if there's a fee for the video feeds. Enjoy!

We're hoping that the Jackets made it out of fog-bound Richmond today and are ready to play well for a win. Good luck to all the players (on both teams) and here's hoping ours come safely back tonight without any additional weather events.
