FYI - I've been told the Quakers will scrimmage DII Queens University (Charlotte) at 11 am Saturday in Guilford's Ragan-Brown Fieldhouse.  If anyone's in the area, it should be a fun look at the team.

I'm pickin' the Quakers :o
Me too!  :)  BTW, the d3hoops preseason team's out - Tyler Sanborn on the 1st and Clay Henson on the 4th.

Guilford took two of three 20-minute game-type scrimmages from DII Queens today at Ragan-Brown.  I'm not sure how injuries and/or conditioning figured into who played, but lots of guards got in - and not so many big men.  When Sanborn was spelled, it was with High or Stephenson, not Stafford or Best.  We'll see.  At any rate, the Quakers looked strong.

Go Quakers! Hey, Nova, are you going to be running "pick 'ems" this year? ;D

Hey, jww!  Hope you're doing well!  Thanks for the "Go Quakers!" plug.  Regarding "pick 'ems", I hadn't really given it any thought - it's not something I've done before.  Up to now, I've stayed away from it because I'm never sure of the time I can devote.  When does the first ODAC team have an official game? I know the Quakers start Tuesday night versus Methodist and then Wednesday night against Greensboro.

With any luck the EMU/Lancaster Bible game will go to 5 OT's and conclude at 5 AM. ;D
Midnight basketball indeed.

I think it'll be a long season for the Royals if it does!  :)

To be serious, I have been a Bridgewater fan since 1982 but at midnight the greatest chapter in EMU Royals hoops history will begin.
That said, Go Eagles.

In Lancaster Bible, EMU had better hope for a Florida International ending!

The Gennies beat Greensboro. A very young team starts with a W. Keep  it up Generals!
