Bridgewater wins 72-49 over a Susquehanna team that was 18-8 last year and lost the Landmark Conference Finals in OT.

Good luck to the Quakers tonight against Methodist and tomorrow night against Greensboro!  I'm in Raleigh this week and can't attend.  :(

Quakers lead Methodist 45-32 at the half.  Could just be the internet connection in my hotel, but the audio's good and the video's pretty bad.  There are many, many dead spots in the video - hardly worth the effort to watch.  On a more positive note, Tyler Sanborn (take note announcers, it's not "Sanburn") has a double/double after 20 minutes with 13 points and 10 boards.  Transfer Akinsola has 10 off the bench.

Quakers win 91-72 over Methodist - 1st game for GC and the 2nd for MU.  Not sure of the scoring totals, but I do know Henson had 22 and Sanborn had 20 points/16 boards.  Sanborn was only 6 of 14 from the line - he's experimenting with a one-hand "technique" that he needs to improve.  As you might expect, the Quakers held the rebounding edge 49-32.  Go Quakers!

Guilford topped Greensboro tonight at the Coliseum, 76-49.  I don't know individual totals, but I do know the Quakers jumped out to 30-0 and 40-3 leads in the first.  It was 65-21 in the 2nd before the Guilford subs finished the game.  The Quakers won the boards 53-37.  GCQ moves to 2-0, while GCP falls to 0-2.

Good grief! :o  Is the more appropriate question "How good is Guilford?" or "How bad is Greensboro?"  I suspect the answer would be "Very" to either one! ;)

I wasn't there, but I think it was just one of those games Greensboro could do nothing right at the start.  With that said, however, Guilford is very good this year.
