Hasa - keep us posted on the GC vs UNC JV game on Saturday. It's on the UNC schedule- the GC site doesn't show me  schedule
Honestly, GCQ doesn't keep the JV schedule updated very well.  I've included the link, but you can get to it at the bottom of the page under Guilford's Varsity schedule.  I was at the end of the JV game versus DII Belmont Abbey and know we lost 55-52, so they're just not posting the details.  Since UNC's an away game, I'll do my best to find out what happens.  :)

Randolph lost by 15 to Lynchburg at home and Guilford comes back and beat Hampden Sydney, this is a crazy year in the ODAC but im loving it
I wasn't able to listen to Guilford's game, but a friend left me a voicemail and said the Quakers won, 77-72.  If HSC led 38-30 at the half, that means GC took the 2nd, 47-34.   Bonner had a career-high 28, with 19 points in the 2nd half.

Number 1 Washington U. had a scare at home tonight, but held off #8 Wheaton (IL), 64-62.  Number #2 John Carroll lost, however, 67-62, at OAC-rival Mount Union.  Lots of one loss teams in the Top 25.  If St. Thomas stays unbeaten until next week, expect the Tommies to move into the #2 slot.

The Quakers are idle until the Maryville College Scots visit Greensboro on Dec. 16.  It should be a good game - MC's currently 6-1, but have Rust College at home this weekend and play Averett in Danville, VA Monday night.  No matter what happens over the next few days, the Quakers will meet a tested team.

I know this won't win me any Karma points. It is the fanatic in fans that lets them set aside rational behavior.  Whatever happened to wpspencer22? Good thing EMU wasn't relying on his cousin to help them kick everyone's butt so far this year. It was just so predictable that it got under my skin. Every time you wander way out on a limb there's always the chance it will snap or someone will cut it. Player from a poor D-1 program doesn't necessarily equate to awesome D-3 player.

That being said I wish the EMU's  continued success until they face the Generals.

Not only has wpspencer22 disappeared, so has his original post. At least I couldn't find it a week or ten days ago when I was looking for it. If it's still there somebody please tell me where to find it.

And what makes you think your post won't win you any karma points?  +1

Good luck to the BC Eagles against Division I Coastal Carolina today.
I watched Coastal on tv vs Duke and that junk defense is tough to figure out at first.

Looks like they got walloped - hope they at least were paid well for the beatdown.

Coach Macedo wins his 200th game today as head Coach of the Marlins. Congratulations!  He is also ranked in the top ten of active coaches in Division III.  May your next 10 years be as successful.  Congratulations also go out to the Marlins for their win against Shenandoah today 90-78.  Keep it up Marlins!!

Also of note in the Marlins game, Stephen Fields dropped a triple-double with 21, 11, and 10.

That's a whale (nautical theme absolutely intended) of a game!  Congratulations!

A question to some of our statisticians in the room:  has any DIII (or other division, for that matter) player ever had a quadruple- or quintuple-double?  If my knowledge of such things is correct, you can get a single-, double-, triple-, quadruple- or quintuple-double by having 10 or more points, rebounds, assists, steals and/or blocks.  It would be really rare, but I think it's been done on some levels of play.

Yeah, I just looked up the score, 91-42.  That is tough, but I admire the Eagles for leaving the aerie to test the currents.  I look forward to seeing BC later in the season when the Eagles visit Guilford.
