Listening to R-MC/VWC and looking at R-MC's season stats. David Carlson's stat line has been removed so that the stats of the individual players listed do not add up to the totals that appear. I understand that Carlson is no longer a member of the team, but why remove his stat line? Revisionist history before it's really history?? I just don't get it.
Yeah, I'm not sure who made that call at RMC, but it's not the way it should be handled.  His stats belong, perhaps without fanfare, but they are part of this team's overall record.

VWC defeats RMC 71-69.  Either it was the sloppiest game ever or the tightest called game ever played.  A total of 46 fouls called.  RMC had 22  -VWC had 24.  Another down to the wire contest.  I wish I could have heard it but just had the live stats.   Can't wait to read the summaries of this contest.  WTG Marlins..also congrats to Guilford and EMU on their good wins tonight.
First, congratulations to the Marlins.   Second, this will surely cause some further turmoil to next week's Top 12!  It's pretty clear RMC will fall from 3rd and it'll be equally hard to justify the Yellow Jackets ranked ahead of both EMU and VWC.

EMU at 8-0 in the conference - who would've imagined that.  Kudos to the Royals!

After posting a final score of 71-69 it was changed to 72-69. Marlins win by 3. Sorry for the error.  Hard to follow live stats at times... I agree with Hasanova..RMC will fall from 3rd..after losing to EMU and VWC  ...but it could all change again by the time next week rolls around too....that's what makes Division III so great..you never know

In tonight's 79-67 GC win over BC, I was impressed with the Eagles.  Why is this team 5-9?  It was a scrappy first half with BC actually up several times, the latest, I think, at 29-28.  From that point, GC (read Clay Henson) went on a tear to go up 42-32 at the half.  In one remarkable stretch, BC's Trawick hit an acrobatic downtown three with about 6 seconds to go to cut the Eagles' deficit to 39-32.  Then, with an equally remarkable shot, Henson answered with a buzzer-beating three to push the halftime margin back to ten.

Henson's had two remarkable back-to-back games.  Tonight he was again 11-18 (6-12 on threes) to put up 28 to go with the 30 points against Roanoke two nights ago.  The Quakers are done for this week, but Henson deserves serious consideration for ODAC POW.  Bonner 18 and Sanborn (17/19 boards) also had stellar nights.  When your top three scorers put up 63, you'll win a lot of games.

Not sure if he'll be first-team all-ODAC, but Trawick showed why he's a game changer, putting up 22 for the Eagles.

GC improves to 16-1, 7-1, while BC falls to 5-9, 3-5.

Yes, it would be easy to imagine that RMC would fall from #3 to #12, that EMU would rise a spot to #6 and that VWC would be ranked about #10.  None of these teams are likely to lose on Saturday (especially Guilford) ....  ;)

So you'd have Guilford at 16-1, EMU at 15-1, VWC at 16-2, and RMC at 15-2.

I think you are being too pessimistic.  IF they all win on Saturday, the ODAC will be the first conference in d3hoops.com poll history with FOUR teams in the top ten.  (The PP already beat 'em to the punch with four in the top nine this week.)

I would agree with you Mr. Ypsi that the ODAC should have 4 teams in the top 10 next week should RMC, VWC, and EMU win this weekend. The Royals will have to play a solid game on Saturday night to beat a Bridgewater team which has played pretty well the last three games. The "backyard" rivalry is always a lot of fun! The Royals will need to have that great team defense they had against Macon last week to come away with a road win at BC. Let's go Royals! One game at a time!

Emu will have to play awesome to beat the eagles in bridgewater. Coach B and coach dean go way back. This will be a classic duke vs unc battle. Seems like it never matters who is on top it's a good game.

Mr. Ypsi .... I'm sorry, but which poll are you speaking of?

Kudos to the Marlins on an impressive win last night - especially Stephen Fields with his 31 points - in the 2nd half, he was just unstoppable.  Have to say it though, the Jackets gave the Marlins a lot of help from where we were sitting.  The missed FT's were just hard to watch...

On a positive note, Croskey's "heart" is as big as the numbers on his shirt -- his 1st half play was outstanding & but for the team turnovers & those missed FT's, we think the result would have been reversed.

The Jackets need to pull together, master the foul line & overcome the nerves against these very aggressive defenses.  We know they can do it.

GO JACKETS!!!!

Hasanova - as for parking, last night there was none close to the gym and the game wasn't even a sell out.  People who came in just before the game started were shocked that the gym was at 80% b/c they couldn't find a parkng spot.  Must have been some other things happening.

If you're at the Ironhorse, it's a very easy walk to Crenshaw.  Parking is a problem at R-MC if more than one event is going on, although on the 30th, there may be fewer student cars on campus.

Congrats to all the winners last night & to those who lost... remember that your true fans are with you, win or lose!

Thanks for all your help, 2RMCFans - all your input will help us plan on Jan. 30!

For any area Guilford alumni or Quaker Club members who'll be at the game, I'm hosting a pre-game reception on behalf of Guilford College from 1:30-3:30 pm at the Iron Horse Restaurant, 100 S. Railroad Ave, Ashland, VA 23005  (804) 752-6410.

He's reffering to the Poster's Poll. Mr. Y runs a Top 25 poll that is voted on by any D3hoops.com message board poster who wishes to participate:

I don't get the Daily News Record, but came across this article on EMU's main website. The article was written last week.
