Interesting how?

Interesting because if you take the time to really look at the picks they seem to be spot on. The only one I questioned was Turner King, but after looking closer there really is no one on the first team I would bump down so as to move him up.
But then who am I ?

Agree, this had to be one of the toughest years to pick the teams, especially the first-team.

Before chaos breaks loose in the tournament, I want to give a shout out to Eastern Mennonite, which has had an incredible season.  I remember that back at the beginning of the season, some here were using the words "EMU" and "mediocre" in the same sentence.  EMU blew right through mediocrity very early, smashed it, and left it lying way back in the dust.  No matter what happens going forward, this has already been a great year for EMU.  And I suspect EMU will continue to enjoy the year as it unfolds.

I'd like to give another type of shout out to Lynchburg, which has gotten itself up off the floor and back in the ring this year.

The tournament will be a blast.  Who wants to play W&L, for instance?

Absolutely agree, sludge.  +1 for you.  Hope you can make it to Salem or listen in!

Great night last night seeing all the teams file in and receive their much deserved awards. It was no surprise to me about POY COY FOY or the teams. But I will say I was surprised to see Eli Crawford get that kind of love as a 6th man and receive Honorable Mention All ODAC. No doubt he deserves it and could start for anybody in the ODAC, just surprised!!! Kudos to Tyler and Kirby! Great Season I hope it continues for several weeks yet for both.

St. Thomas lost last night and will take one of the Pool C bids ..... That pushes Randolph-Macon down from 6th to 7th on my list of the 19 Pool C bids, for what it's worth.

Actually, Pat Coleman's list, posted last night, has Randolph-Macon at #11 of the 19 teams to get a Pool C .... and St. Thomas' loss pushes them down to #12.

Randolph-Macon, if they lose this afternoon .... as I hope they will ...   ;) .... still has an excellent chance of getting a bid, but I think that Yellow Jackets fans will be rooting for the following teams to win their conference tournaments:

William Paterson
St. Mary's
Carthage
MIT
EMU, Guilford, or VWC
Texas – Dallas
Whitworth
John Carroll
Wooster
St. Norbert
Franklin & Marshall
Cabrini
St. John Fisher
Central
Hope or Calvin

Wish I could be there for it.  I cannot get away from work today to attend, but if we're in it tomorrow, I should be there.

Hasa, I will do that.  I hope we get the first round loss monkey off our back this year.  Looking forward to hoisting a few at Mac & Bob's tomorrow! 8-)
