Watched the game on the web, and, for the record, the stats still won't come up, but this game was a complete woodshed job, all the way around...starting with the alley-oop to Jordan Brown off the opening tip, to the 19-2 start.   The Tigers just never seemed into it, and were never able to knock down shots or get stops, in order to stop the bleeding.  The Jackets on the other hand, were knocking down threes, and working their offense with patience to find the right shot for 28-32 mnutes of this game...and they had to have handily outrebounded the Tigers (can't see stats yet, so this is speculation).  I watched the Jackets play about 5 times this year, and it is easily the best all around effort I have seen from them, and Marty Bridges and Andrew (Stubby) Price agreed with the radio call, they dominated the boards, and were clearly more prepared for this game than the Tigers were.

On to EMU, which will be a different challenge, but the Jackets definitely owe them one after they took a 30 pt loos on the chin as the #1 team in the land from the Royals. Should be a great game, and hopefully the Jackets are starting to peak at the right time, and this is the beginning of something special for RMC!

GO Jackets!!

This is no time for Randolph-Macon to be awakening.  It could mess up some well made plans.

donho

Perhaps they felt the lack of respect??

donho

Guilford up by 5 at the 16 minute mark.
