Clark played a very good game. Macon wins by 10 but the game was closer then 10.
Guilford wins a close one, good work !
EMU makes it three in for the ODAC, great job.

Macon wins 70-60, but was really closer than the score indicates!   Wow 28-8 advantage in free throw attempts.  They made 22 of them. Good thing.

Sorry VWC lost.

Maybe there's a chance RMC will get to host.   :o

3 of 4 on to the sweet 16

EMU wins 85-71.

Congrats to Quakers, Jackets and Royals....let's keep it going

Great job by VWC also.

St. Marys has been very tough in recent years.  Great season anyway, VWC.

For Guilford, scoring shifted more to Clay Henson tonight.
Josh ("that's a freshman?") Pittman chipped in 4 of 5 from 3 point range.
Sanborn produced another massive double-double.  Shooting well from the line.
T.C Anderson came up with a big steal.

Great to have 3 teams in the 16. What a season its been.

If location plays into it, I would think St. Marys will host.  As it is a central spot for all four teams.

I hope Macon hosts. They clearly have the best conference left of the 16 remaining. Is there any chance they could? Would they give St. Mary the nod twice?

They (macon) could host but I would think St. Marys makes sense to the NCAA. I believe NCAA pays expenses and with SM being in the middle of the three schools, well you get the picture. But only they know for now. It would be nice , and also 100 miles closer for me.

Hosting also depends upon who has sent the paperwork.

I have seen this situation before. I'm used to live up north in NY. St. John Fisher who lost tonight to Brandeis was undefeated back in 2005 and had two other NY teams in the sweet 16 and all three teams went to Amherst, MA. Absolutely ridiculous. I agree with you, I have that hunch that it will be at St. Mary based on your reasons, but I have seen weird things happen. When will we find out tomorrow? Afternoon?

donho

In interview with Coach Davis he was asked that question and his reply was that he hoped to find out sometime tomorrow.

Does lack of lodging options play into the decision?  Fredericksburg is a long ride from SMC!

They had four games there this weekend . Those teams stayed somewhere with a roof  and even had food to eat.  ;)

Where do you think EMU and Guilford will end up playing?  Who is most likely to host?
