DeWayne-If you do, then my advice is to get your ticket when they go on sale EARLY or you won't get into the gym.There are only a limited amount available to the general public.The rest is reserved for students/Yellow Jacket Club members.They will list on the R-MC website and in the T-D when they will be on sale-go get them then!It really is a good time and a great atmosphere.Crenshaw doesen't hold nearly as much as the Batten Center or the H-SC gym-but it's LOUD!

Thanks for the info..... I would make it to more VWC games but my schedule doesn't permit me to as much as I would like, but VCU doesn't play a home game that saturday so my schedule is free right now and I really do plan on making it to that game.

Guilford at Randolph has been postponed until Thursday, January 27 at 7 pm also. Again, it's due to the inclement weather in central Virginia. Ditto on the frown

I'm in Hampton Roads and we have just rain-My daughter was supposed to have a home basketball game tonight with Fuqua School in Farmville and it has been postponed because of weather(them coming to us) so if H-SC is at home they will probably be cancelled too-must be pretty HAIRY west of us.....

You guys need to contact the good folks at Patch.com (www.patch.com) and lobby them to come to the Richmond area (they operate in Northern Va. already) and set up an Ashland-Hanover County Patch site. Then you'd see some coverage!

Postponing VWC/EMU to Feb 14 is a huge break for both teams. VWC doesn't miss a bunch of class time by getting snowed in Harrisonburg, playing the game, then having to turn right back around and going to Lexington for their game Saturday at W&L.

On the other hand, EMU doesn't have to face the possibility of playing its way out of Pool C bid contention in January with a fifth conference loss if they had fallen to VWC last night. This isn't a knock on their upcoming opponents, but now EMU has a chance to pick up some momentum in its upcoming schedule (@ Noke, @ LC, Randolph, at BC, E&H) heading into the 2/14 make-up with the Marlins that they might've lost otherwise as it seems they aren't as sharp right now.

HSC loses to Lynchburg by 2 at home. A 3 at the buzzer went in and rattled out for HSC. They got behind by double digits in the 1st half and fought back early in the second half to get within 4 and kept it there for the majority of the 2nd half. They took a few leads in the final 7 minutes, but LC kept answering HSC runs. Both teams made the same number of field goals and took the same number of shots for the exact same field goal percentage. The difference was LC made 1 more three pointer and 1 more foul shot than HSC for the 2-point win. Things do not get any easier as Randolph comes to town on Saturday.
