I sure hope EMU gets and at large but things arent looking good as Ferrum along with plenty of other potential Pool A teams taking it on the chin over the course of the weekend, gonna be close if we do get in. With that being said...Randy Mac is by far the best team in the conference this season! Nothing EMU should be ashamed of. They battled them pretty good all 3 times but just wasnt meant to be, RMC has size, athletic ability, and kids that can just flat out play ball! I think they've got a decent shot and making a repeat appearance in Salem here in a few weeks...Hope we meet up again once more and hopefully the 4th time's a charm haha!!  :D

RMC has a legitimate chance of winning the whole dance!!!

According to d3hoops front page, "Who's in the men's tournament" by conference, The NESCAC will only get 2 bids, an automatic and pool c, not 3 as suggested.  Also, WIAC will only get one bid. (Stevens Point). The USA South only one.  (NC Wesleyan).  I guess we will have to just wait and see how many the ODAC will get.  Going to be a long wait (until tomorrow afternoon) to be certain however, who's in and who's out.  Fingers crossed for EMU.  Congratulations to Randolph-Macon on their victory today.  Well deserved.

Very true statement my friend. Would be awesome for the ODAC if we have another strong showing in the big dance. Guess it wouldnt be too shabby if one of us brought home the trophy either!  8-)

25 point win= a higher seed in the National Tournament and probably hosting.

In a perfect world if 3 ODAC teams get in they wouldn't meet until the elite 8. But, as we have seen in the past, I would venture to say 2 ODAC teams will meet in the sweet 16 or before! Good Luck to all and let's pray EMU gets a shot to show they are a top team one more time!!!!

Still don't know about that one Bossman.....we still can't get that Fish off our back! That being said, we are certainly ONE DANGEROUS TEAM because of the team defense we play.....not alot of DIII teams  will want to face us-or for that matter, have seen that kind of defense this year......OK GUYS-YOU SENIORS ESPECIALLY-ONE GAME AT A TIME!!! We've really got a chance to make some noise in this tournament!!Go Jackets!!GREAT year to be a Yellow Jacket!!! Congrats to both our women's and men's teams!!

Coach Macedo and the Marlins came in 6th in the ODAC in 2008-2009.  Then I guess, according to your theory, he had to "outcoach" 4 other coaches to win the ODAC.   Get real.  Randolph won yeasterday because the Marlins field goal percentage was lower than Randolph's.  It wasn't a question of being "outcoached."  Their were no strategy errors on Macedo's part.  Macedo has  the best overall record in the ODAC for the 11 years he has been a head coach, (238-80), has NEVER had a losing season and to come in first in the regular season with such a young team is quite an accomplishment.   Did he deserve COY.  Yes, nothing against Coach Nunley.  He is a fine coach, as are other coaches in the ODAC, but Macedo has proven himself to be one of the best.  His program was voted of the the 5 best of the decade, 2001-2010.
It's easy to make shots when you are getting layups seemingly whenever you want. Randolph attempted 28 layups and made 13, which was 50% of their FGs. Over 50% of their FGAs were layups (28 layups on 52 FGA) and they only attempted 9 two point jumpers! That's going to win you a lot of ball games no matter who you are playing!

On the front page - there is no indication of how many teams will get in... the number in parenthesis indicates the seed in the conference tournament Middlebury is. NESCAC will probably still get three teams into the NCAA tournament (when it is updated, you will see a similar scenario for RMC).
