Macon up 7 with the ball with :90 to go. Macon has last 7 points and has made them when they needed to.

Macon will win by a score of 86-80. Tough loss but Tigers have to regroup because they still get the 2 seed if they win out, plus they have a rough game at LC on Wednesday.

OOPS!  I'll be the first to admit that I was wrong, HSC does not win by 20.

Not surprised, VWC has struggled with Guilford, probably the longest drought against any ODAC team. I knew it wasn't going to be easy to run the table in the always tough ODAC.

Game ball goes to Holmes!  5 of 6 from the field and some monster blocks!  Dominated the inside in the first half!

^ Holmes & Simon... what a duo they were today, with Cole on the bench with the flu.  Almost all (if not all) of Simon's points were from the FT line.  Croskey & Desgain hit their 3s when needed & Giggetts played his usual "both ends of the floor", solid game.  Some of the other young players had key blocks & rebounds today.  We're really liking what we see as the season goes on.... the Jackets look a lot better than they did in their last home loss.

Tigers played a heck of a game, too.  Jessee might have missed one FG attempt & we think he was 100% from the FT line.  George & Williamson are really hard to play around.

It was pretty much a cleanly fought battle of 2 strong teams & could have gone either way, but Jackets really did seem determined to win & played well together today.

Congrats to the Quakers!  What a huge win.  The ODAC never disappoints, eh?

GO JACKETS!!!!

Surprisingly, R-MC has now won 13 of the last 15 regular season games against H-SC.

No way am I saying this changed the outcome of the game in any shape, matter, or form, but the refs in the HSC-RMC game today were atrocious. RMC getting home jobber calls all first half, then second-half early on it was like H-SC was the home team. It's not like H-SC did anything overwhelmingly different in the second-half either, they keep going inside and the refs started calling fouls they didn't call first half. Both teams should have gripes about the quality of the officials, you would think in a game of this nature that we could get the better referees...

Wait, wait, wait. You mean that a team with 4 (four) ODAC first teamers lost to a team made up of leftovers and newbies? Davis for coach of the year!!!! Oh still have 8 games to play, well maybe I should calm down and let things playout.
GOOOO Jackets!! Nice job Coach Davis.

Who on here said any team had four first-teamers? The most any team will have is two...

I had to work today - just heard about an hour ago!  Nine out of the last ten over the Marlins.  Yippee!  :)  Congratulations to RMC for a fine win as well.  Man, it's tight at the top of the ODAC.  Go Quakers!

You're right that the refs are always a factor in ODAC games.  Seemed like they let them play in the 1st half.  But, then R-MC was in deep foul trouble late in the 2nd half & we really thought that would be end of it for us, but a strong bench performance worked well for us yesterday.   Several new & newer Jackets men have been overlooked for praise this season but, hopefully, they're just getting better & better!  GO JACKETS!!!!
