Removes quote of removed post/pcole
I don't believe "badcall!" mentioned a player by name ... he simply cited a story in the Daily News-Record.  The first mention of a player by name appears to be in your post.  Am I wrong?

The guy who pretended to be a student during the spring semester so that he could play another 3 weeks of basketball was apparently Bryan Lynch.

Lynch was enrolled in the fall.  His stats for the season indicate that he stopped playing after the fall semester and did not play during the winter break or interterm session.  But he began to play again at the beginning of the spring semester on January 30, even though he was not enrolled.  See  http://bridgewatereagles.com/sports/mbkb/2012-13/players/bryanlynchovok?view=gamelog ....

He is the only BC player who is no longer listed on the Bridgewater roster at http://bridgewatereagles.com/sports/mbkb/2012-13/roster

In regards to the player named by "Badcall", that is completely untrue.  Tavis is a hardworker on and off the court, and is currently in fine academic standing. I do not know who your sources are, but I do not think think this is the forum for making assumptions about a Student Athlete.  Inappropriately dragging a players name through the mud is wrong.

That being said, Good Luck to all the ODAC teams currently in NCAA tournament!

IIRC, badcall did mention the player by name ("according to other sources"), but apparently thought better of it and edited the post.  But my memory has not proven anywhere near what it once was, so I may be mistaken. :P

(He did edit his earlier post between the time formerbenchwarmer posted and your post.)

Thanks. Mr. Ypsi.

If I had to guess it would probably be a combination with Hargrove being the primary.

Mr. Ypsi

Any insider info on whether Woodmore is good to go?

Brian Hamilton

I don't have insider info but he is probably not going to play this weekend based on what VWC posters have said.  Chance he'll play next weekend.

That would also be my guess.  Maybe Wetzel?  Murray?

Obradavic's length could be used as well.

Hopefully it's not too serious. The good thing is that VWC should be able to get past Delaware Valley without him, so VWC could have a situation where he's able to sit for almost 2 weeks and have time to heal if its not serious.

While I've picked VWC to win a couple games (at http://d3photography.com/bracket_challenge/ ) before losing to Williams in the Sweet Sixteen, I'd say that Woodmore is crucial to their efforts, just as Harrison and Khobi are critical to HSC.

The Marlins are 6-4 against teams that have made the tournament, but all of their wins were with Woodmore on the court.  Delaware Valley is a 19-8 team that will be difficult to beat without him.

Good luck to all the ODAC teams this weekend!

Returning to the story of an ineligible player at BC, Guilford's website now shows the Feb. 16 game as a 2-0 forfeit win and has changed GC's record from 18-9 to 19-8.  I assume a similar result will be true for all the opponents BC "defeated" with this player in the line-up.

I think that the 2-0 win against Bridgewater should have been enough to get Guilford into the NCAAs ...  ;)
