I'm watching the Bwater game they can't shoot 3s or jump shots they might take a L to W and L.

BWater loses to W and L 74-66. BC wins the most inconsistent team award as they have beaten both HSC and VWC but has lost to W and L and EMU.

Roanoke beats EMU tonight 88-78.  Great back and forth game, Roanoke scored the game winning basket and while the ball was on the rim EMU stopped the clock  :P, thought that was very interesting.

If I were voting for the Top 25, I'd have RMC somewhere around #15 and VWC somewhere around #20.

^ It would be nice to finally break in after the recent solid wins posted.  But, the whole league is strong this year & there are lots of contenders for just 25 rankings.

Akeem Holmes had a breakout game with his first double double (13/10) of the season off the bench last night.

Also off the bench, Chris Hamilton went 5-5 on 3's;  freshman Jamie Wilson also hit some long, clean 3's (4-6) and starter Sullivan was 3-5 -- overall 65% of 3's scored.  Not sure when was the last time the perimeter scoring was that good.

In addition to spreading around the scoring, Badger, Simon, Hassell, Jackson & Holmes kept the defensive pressure on the Quakers all night.  It was a very convincing overall performance heading into the last month.

But, it's still a conference where any of 5-6 teams can win on any given night so we're hoping the Jackets just keep their focus game to game this month.

Congrats to the other winners this weekend.

GO JACKETS!!!

That's some great 3 point shooting. I had to do a little searching to get the details of the time when Adam Desgain hit 11 3s in a single game. It was 12/19/10 at Averett, he was 11-15  and the team was 20-31. I watched that game online and can remember, as the game progressed, thinking that every time he put up a 3 pointer I expected it to go in. An amazing performance. Of course that was against Averett.  What the Jackets did against Guilford yesterday was every bit as amazing.

Congratulations to the Jackets.  Exactly the game I feared.  I refuse to pay to watch and, after a short while, couldn't bear to listen.  The Quakers just need to regroup and finish strong.  Looks as though RMC's the team to beat at the moment!  When we lose, we do it big!  :)

Khobi finished Saturday's game with 999 points, so his first point against Lynchburg on Wednesday in Fleet Gym will put him over 1,000 career points.   :)

ODAC Partners with Rising Up Sports to Launch ODAC.tv http://www.odaconline.com/odac/2013-14/releases/020314-odac-tv-launch
QuoteInternet web streaming is about to reach a new level, just in time for the winter championship season. Today, ODAC announced its launch of ODAC.tv, a partnership with Rising Up Sports that will present a more immersive Internet web streaming experience for fans, parents, alumni and supporters of some of the best student-athletes and programs that NCAA Division III has to offer.

And a key point, which I warned you folks about.
QuoteODAC.tv will be a pay-TV and sponsor supported venture for live viewing, affording the conference and its member schools a new source of revenue with which to augment the championship experience and other features of the conference's athletic offerings.
