I stated awhile back that I had never seen such parity in this conference as I have this year and it turned out to be sooo true.  Congratulations to all the teams that played today and won, and also to those who have to go home.  You have given the fans a great year with more excitement to come.   Thanks also to Dave McHugh for calling the VWC game with the AD from VWC.  They were a great combo and did a super job.  As much as I want to see the Marlins move on, it's anyone's game at this point.  Good luck to all the teams that remain and again thank you to those who have departed before they wanted to.  GO MARLINS!!!

Thanks, Fishtankfan... I really enjoyed calling the game with Joanne...

And hscathletics... I am pretty sure I suggested to Moir that a result like that in a rivalry game could be bad for RMC ;)

Geez. Can I cut and paste my previous post about the Generals?  The last three games, including the narrow loss to RMC the Generals have looked like a totally different team. Strange how seasons go sometimes

HSCDad

Interesting foul shot situation in H-SC/RMC game.  H-SC had a total of 9 foul shots - all in the last 4 minutes whereas RMC had a total of 28 for the game. Hope today's game has a more level calling!!

FISHTANKFAN

Well, Emory LOST to Rochester just now so that should help the Marlins and RMC in the last rankings, especially VWC if they can win today to get a better chance at a pool C bid.  Of course I want them to go all the way but in the ODAC you never know. Good luck to all the teams today!!  Go Marlins!!!

It's sad for the Quaker seniors, but their season is over with an upset loss to Washington and Lee.  What's going on with the Generals here in the tournament?!!!

So far they're partying like its 2009!

Go for it Gennies - nothing like coming together at the right time.
If you make every game a life and death proposition, you're going to have problems. For one thing, you'll be dead a lot. Dean Smith

HSC leads 47-33 at the half.  Falk got 3 fouls in the first half.  HSC appears to have advantage in the paint.  HSC also appeared to match EMU from 3-point land.  We'll see what half #2 brings.

Falk picked up 4th foul with 15:40 to go.

HSC wins 104-80.

Khoi Williamson with 26 points, Keegan Wetzel with 17 and I think Greg Lewis had 14.  Very good all-around effort from the Tigers.  VWC and W&L in about 25 minutes.  Both teams warming up now.

35-28 VWC over W&L at the half.  Close throughout the 1st half and VWC ended the half well to take, what I believe is the largest lead of the game, into half.

At 16:20 to go in 2nd half, VWC has expanded the lead to 16.

A big thanks to Dave McHugh for putting the VWC game on youtube.  ODAC TV went down after about 8 minutes into the game and by the time I finally saw that it was on yo tube..I got to see the last eight minutes.  Congratulations to the Marlins on their win and for W&L for a good game.  DJ Woodmore deserves kudo's for being the leader he is on the court.  He directs the offense like a conductor of music.  Great job for all these years DJ.  Well with all the upsets today in d3, it looks like if the Marlins want to go to the dance they have to beat the Tigers tomorrow.  Best of luck to both.

Give the ODAC front office the credit... they called me. I simply executed the plan :).

Fishtankfan,
D3Hoops projects the ODAC as a 3-team league if HSC wins tomorrow.

Dave 'd-mac' McHugh

Where is that projection? LOL

I would say it is a real chance... not sure VWC falls that far in the regional rankings... but you just never know.

HSC's week so far . . . They have painted the Maroons blue, swatted the Yellow Jackets and deposed (or led a coup d'état) of the Royals.  Here's hoping they can play the role of Santiago from Hemingways's "The Old Man and the Sea" and have fish for dinner Sunday night.

On a serious note, irregardless of Sunday's outcome, best of luck to Macon and VWC who should both be in the tourney.
